Works well on my Subaru Crosstrek. Not a perfect fit but it’s a ‘universal fit’ so that is to be expected. Keeping the inner privacy screen closed also helped keep the car a bit warmer on a brisk day without cutting off all the air circulation. Stretched over the doors easily, stayed where I put them. Was a much more reasonable price than getting window privacy screens AND bug nets. Not sure about durability, definitely wouldn’t leave the dog in the car with these on

I made my husband install it because I get nervous when I see instructions, but he showed me how to do it and it was so easy. It was as easy as putting my bra on. I love this product. I have to sit in my car for work and it keeps out the leaves and sun. Would recommend this to anyone. I bought one set for the front doors. I take it off for driving to minimize wear and tear because it is very thin material.

I’m only giving 4 stars because the measurements were accurate for the recommended fit, but it seems a little snug and it rides up a little, but this is only a issue if I roll my window completely down. I don’t so it’s not much of an issue for me but it might be for someone else. I’m keeping mine, they seem to be alright.

The good: product blocks UV and keep car internal cooler than no shade. Allow view of outside via the zipper opening and the mesh net did keep most bugs out, although there is a small gap at the bottom of the shade where small bugs can crawl in if your window is rolled down. Provide semi-privacy by the black colored shades but still allow some light in. The bad: Installation is not as easy if you don't want to tear the shade as you try to pull the cover over the door. These shades are designed to install in a certain direction and way. Takes some time to figure how they would install correctly. The zipper can self-open easily during installation if the shades are stretch too much. The shades are not mean to be installed and drive with as the shades will worn out like any other fabric if driven with for an extended time. Summary: Block UV and keep vehicle internal cool as stated. Not design to be drive with. For someone that drive to work everyday, the install (when parked in a lot) and uninstall (when drive) of the shades is too much time and work.

If you want to have your car windows open for ventilation but want to keep bugs out and want to be able to close the screens up for privacy or to keep the sun out - while keeping the windows open - this is the perfect solution. Especially if you don't want to spend a lot of money, and you need something very, very compact for stowage when not in use! These are made entirely of lightweight black fabric with mosquito mesh on the outside, with fairly opaque fabric on the inside that have zippered openings to let air in or close things up. I have used them in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Colorado in the buggy spring and summer, and they work great! Make certain you order the correct ones for your car because they are sewn to fit precisely over the doors. They come with Velcro hook strips attached to the bottom ends to hold them down. The sticky velcro loop side needs to be adhered on the hinge and latch sides of the doors, to attach the hook sides attached to the fabric. They are so inconspicuous on my car that I completely forget they are there until I need to use the screens. Also the front door screens have holes for your outside mirrors to fit through, and as a result there can be a gap along the bottom of the outside screen. I solved that by getting some cheap dime-size x 1/8" thick "soft" magnets from the dollar store, and placed them on the outside along the bottom edge of the fabric. That keeps the bugs out just fine. Lastly, use them only while parked - they are not intended for use under way. They do have one weakness, and that is initial quality. My first set arrived with sewing flaws and had to be replaced. But the company makes up for that with very prompt responsiveness, replacing faulty items very quickly.

For my Honda HR-V, I bought this product (the compatibility with my car had been checked) hoping that I could open the windows, while parking during the night, to get fresh air without using the AC (most importantly, to avoid to get mosquitoes - which could be overwhelming - into the car). However, this product let a big gap at the bottom of the window and the mosquitoes could get in easily...

I have an older (12-15 yo) 4-door sedan that doesn't seem to fit a lot of newer products. These sun shades worked well, stayed on through the night, and came off easily to pack up. Definitely measure your windows first - I ended up purchasing two sets of the front-window shades because my back windows/doors curve back down rather than being rectangular (the latter being ideal for the rear-window set). They went on easily with no tearing, but I was careful to put them on gently. One zipper pull did come off shortly after, but we were able to easily reattach it. Kept them on for several days, did a great job blocking sun and heat throughout the day, and let breeze in at night without worrying about bugs. Did not use the velcro this time, but may in the future. They removed easily when we were ready to hit the road again. Would not recommend driving with these on, especially not zipped up, your field of vision is too limited.

I bought these for my Sonata they fit perfectly. It gets super HOT in the summertime so I thought I'd try these out and I'm glad I did. Once you figure out how to place them it is easy to install and pretty fast too. The mesh is pretty good quality. Its thick so you can't really see when driving but if you unzip the flaps you can see well enough to drive. They stay without the velcro tabs but I would recommend placing em. Great product. Great price. I'm happy with my purchase it does the job 👌
