I usually get by with rubber bands just collecting them when they find their way to me (e.g. bundles of mail, around a carton of eggs, etc.), but lately I've found myself needing one and not having any around. The logical next step is to order 1250 of them :-) I don't think I'll be in need of rubber bands (at least in this size) for a long time, especially since these seem pretty strong. They measure 3.5" long unstretched and in testing I reached the breaking point at 30". I did notice that they don't rebound fully after a good stretch; if I stretch one out to 20" it then measures at just over 4" at rest. I think that's to be expected though. ... show more

I like the value of this. It's a good average size, #19, and they're all that size. The rubber bands are a firm stretch, but they're thin. There are no thick ones in this lot. Apparently the pound of rubber bands ends up being around 1250 rubber bands. That's a lot! This is a great buy in my opinion for a classroom, office, or even a home office (that might last about forever!). They come in a plastic bag, and it's not resealable. You might want to set this into a zip bag to avoid it tipping over and spilling out. Overall I thought this was a great deal and good quality. Highly recommend. ... show more

I bought a small bag of multi colored rubber bands from the stationery section of a Fred Meyer and it last me for almost three years, I might be able to make this bag last a decade or more, perhaps I will pass it down to my grandchildren someday. Anyways, this is a hugemongous amount of rubber bands. They are nice sizes too, the kind that can be used for a lot of different things, not just one of those pencil airplane launchers.     • Worked well for my office and home tasks!

I’m very happy with how these rubber bands performed over the weekend! Of note, I had a lot of administration catchup work to do ie packing papers and boxes of old office files. So I used the bands to secure a stack of large 11x17 folders, and to my surprise, none of them broke or snapped. I also use them to bundle pens, pencils and tie my USB cables together. Moreover, the elasticity, strength, and stretchability are excellent, making them perfect for using on heavy-duty tasks. It will be interesting to see just how long they last over time, as that will give me a better indication of their overall quality (I will check back in 6 months). In terms of texture, the rubber bands are smooth and easy to handle and doesn't burn your skin, which makes working with them more comfortably. I also appreciate their size—not too small or too large—making them versatile for various office and home tasks. Finally, and this might not matter to everyone, but it’s important to me: these rubber bands have no odor, which I really appreciate. Most rubber bands have this unique odor! ... show more
