I purchased this as my first 3d printer by accident. I thought I had got the best deal possible on a Ender 3 Neo MAX. BUT I was presently surprised when I got this machine. Being new to 3d Printing at the time I did have to tinker a bit with it to make it work correctly. This helped me learn all the aspects of 3d Printing from Bowden Tubes, Bed Leveling, Extruders, Direct Drive Systems, PCB boards, Motherboards, filament types, and on and on. Once I had this machine tuned in correctly it took me on a journey I am still on. 4 Enders (One Neo, Three 3 Pros (sprite direct drive converts), One 5 S1, 1 Ankermake, 1 Neptune 3 Max, 1 Bambu P1P, and a Elegoo Saturn 2 the NEO is my least tampered with and most reliable. I have named her "The Originator". She has her own specially back lit enclosure and I am printing out little 3d printing ornaments to go in with her. She is NO where near as fast as my newer machines but she holds a special place as just being a great little machine. DEFINATELY upgrade the bed to two sided PEI build plate because the glass is great but sticks way too well and rips prints when you try to take them off. ... show more

I saw a lot of comments about the lack of directions. There is a very good video section on the SD card which guides you through the assembly and leveling procedures. Also, I would strongly suggest getting a cheap dial indicator to make the bed perfectly level. I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K874PGD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 and the print head adaptor can be found with Google. I also got an enclosure and magnetic print bed. It prints perfect every time now and I love it! These 3D printers are never turnkey, it takes time and patience to figure out everything, but that's half the fun. ... show more

I have an Ender 3 Pro already. I thought i knew what love was until I got this NEO. It’s basically the same thing as the 3 pro but comes with pretty much all of the upgrades already. But it’s a super quiet and has even better precision. I had to go check on it a few times because it’s so quiet that I thought I shut off or something. I print stuff daily for a business and if I end up buying another printer to keep up with the flow I’m getting another one of these. Would definitely recommend it. It prints just a good, if not better, than my friends printer that cost him over twice as much. Tech support was great too. I called them when I first set it up because it wasn’t turning on. They were completely fine with sending out a replacement part for free and letting me just return the faulty component. However, it ended up not being needed because I forgot I had to switch the voltage to 110 in the back lol. So don’t forget to do that if your houses uses 110. The little switch in the back is preset to 240v. ... show more

if you are somewhat mechanically inclined the set up isn't bad. there are alott of things you will need to learn if this is your first printer as it was mine. I got it and leveled the bed. did an auto level and then off to printing i was. well so i thought... the first print was the included boat benchmark. it failed about 75% of the way through. the printer screen was blank and would do nothing. the bed and nozzle were both cold. what it did print looked amazing though. so i did some testing and found that the micro sd card it had come with was at fault. my pc didn't even recognize it as connected. i couldn't even format it! it was just dead. so I found and old card i had laying around and downloaded a stl sliced it and it finished without issues. i've printed a few more times since then with no issues. so either include a quality card or none at all. it really looks bad. the included card is a netac 8Gb. ... show more
