Why do puzzle companies continue to make giant boxes for their puzzles. One - who has the extra storage space? Two - why are they wasting materials that are not needed? The box could be half the size. The puzzle itself is fine.

This is a very well made puzzle and a fun means of teaching a youngster how to put together a puzzle of more pieces--from edge pieces that have a unifying frame to individual components with each of the sports to show how to look for similar colors or components for each of those sections and again with some framing borders unifying each. The pieces themselves are sturdier than average but still allow for teaching a child how to treat them respectfully and find their fit based on more than just the parts and moreso the picture. I love the story behind the Upbounders brand, and supporting a mom and Black-Owned Business! The diversity and inclusion on this puzzle alone is so exciting! My newly four year old son is really into puzzles. We sat down to do it together, and it took under an hour. He did the border and I sorted the other pieces by sport, so he could then easily put it together. We liked that each sport square was outlined with a different color, making them mini-puzzles within the big puzzle! My son loved the variety of sports represented: hockey, soccer, skiing, football, car racing, tennis, bowling, golf, basketball, ice figure skating, surfing, baseball and swimming. We were able to discuss each one, which was a good learning opportunity. We did realize that the pieces are somewhat interchangeable. Out of the box, two completely different pieces were fitted together. There are clear pictures of how the puzzle should go, though, so it should not be a problem. The puzzle pieces are high-quality, with a nice yellow print on the back that really makes this puzzle unique. The colors are really vibrant, too. This puzzle was fun for my 5 year-old to put together. The pieces were fairly big and there was an obvious border between the different scenes that made it a bit easier for the size. My daughter enjoyed looking at the different sports portrayed and talking about them. A couple of the sports she didn’t know about so she learned about those as well. She has put the puzzle together a couple of times again and it has been fun every time! ... show more

So happy to have a sports puzzle that is boy and girls! All the diversity shown is great to! Obviously, if your household watches sports, you're going to see athletes from all over the world, so it's nice to see this in a child's toy as well. Even though it's a 100-piece puzzle, the pieces are a good size and there's isn't anything too tricky for smaller kids (ages 3-4), if they're already good at puzzles. The pieces are well-made and easy for little hands to manage. It is easy to assemble, each piece is thick enough not to bend or snape. I love that the printing and packaging are eco-friendly, and we're happy to support small businesses in all their diversity too! This makes a great gift for any family with young kids! ... show more
