This is the one you want!! This is a simple tool but essential if you have a motor shaft stuck in a squirrel cage. Mine would not budge even after several attempts but this device worked like a charm.     • Solid tool for those occasional uses
I had to replace my furnace blower motor, and the squirrel cage was frozen. This made quick work of pulling it. HOWEVER, if you have a tap/die set, I recommend running the hex bolts through the die (5/16 - 18) to clean up the threads. When I first tried to screw them into the aluminum tool body, it was clear there was a lot of resistance. The threads on the bolt were NOT very good. Running them through the die cleaned them up and I could easily screw them in by hand. Remember, you're screwing into aluminum, so you could easily wreck the threads in the tool body if you don't do this ... show more

This tool is beautiful and convenient. Built with top notch materials. It is very easy to use. This is not a tool that is needed every day buy, when you do need it... It saves you. My only recommendation is thar it could come with a storage case or bag. I have to keep it in the box in order to avoid losing anything. Thank You! ... show more

    • does not line up correctly
Caused more damage than helped. The instructions were a joke. Mounted like the picture described, would not stay in the middle, ended up scoring up the bolt. The allen bolts that hold it in place tore up the fan mount, causing the screw hole that holds the fan on the motor to have the threads stripped out. ... show more

If you have one thats resisting the usual sanding and lubing, this is a good alternative to cutting. Worked like a charm!

    • The center bit jiggles in a good way
It works like it's supposed to.. the push rod jiggles but I believe it works like that on purpose. For easier centering and gives incase you don't center it perfectly. It's incredibly light! I hope it last for my career. But only years will tell.
