Smell is subjective and this was a blind buy. I am an experienced cologne and perfume enjoyers so hear me out. I had no idea what this was going to be like because there is very little info or insight from other reviews. So I took a chance and bought it. The house behind this Wood variety seems like they do unisex fragrances. I have multiple designer branded unisex scents so this isnt anything new to me. The listing stated some basic info about the way this was put together. Given a couple dominant notes I figured this leaned to the masculine. With the main notes of musk, oud, and nutmeg I figured okay this has to be pretty decent. Wood based scents are what I lean to. After testing it a couple times I know this isn't my cup of tea. This is not an EDT it is an EDP which is made with quality ingredients. I will say outright this has some longevity and sillage. I sprayed this one time on my wrist and gently blotted it on the other wrist and my neck (never rub it), and my wife in the other room through a closed door could smell it two rooms away. It is very strong with a long dry down. The initial smell is very florally forward and brash. Even with one spray it seemed like it was too much. The thing I am not liking about this is its coming off as very warm spiced incense and floral at the same time and I cannot decide if its actually more feminine or masculine. Normally even the good unisex ones tend to lean one way. Bottle size is great, the longevity is great, its value is off the charts if you can jive with the blend. It does sort of have this Dubai night time activity thing going on with it. I recommend this one strictly for either very cold winter and autumn months, or for a special night time event. Could be a very high end fancy clone but I dont know what its supposed to be as this isnt my typical scent. I think this would be really good maybe HOURS later after the fact. After a very long dry down. For me personally. However. If you like the other night time and winter and fall scents and have an interest in the Spice Bazaar then Wood wont disappoint. I wish I liked it more. No doubt its a good valued scent that after this review, you could blind buy it probably and like it if this tickles your fancy. ... show more

This is a perfume suitable for men or woman. First of all, I removed one star because the package is poorly designed and it doesn't hold the bottle in place. I was lucky that it didn't get damaged during transportation. The bottle is classic but still looking good. The size is also a good point. The scent is very strong. I sprayed one time on my wrist first to try and it was really strong for several hours. I have the wood scent and it didn't feel like wood to me. It is a good scent but not something I would associate with the word wood. It is also in my opinion more a men perfume than women. ... show more

This has quickly become one of my new favorites in my collection. I'm a scentophile (is that a thing?) I love new scents, and I pick them up like one would try new snack flavors. When this one popped up, my fiancé grabbed it, knowing it sounded like something I'd love. She was right. First, the bottle size is actually rather large. It's one of the larger bottles I own. The bottle is well-made and sturdy with thick glass. The scent is fantastic, it's crisp, timeless, bold, yet subtle and sultry. I can't describe what it smells like, but it certainly smells high-end. I don't think this one could disappoint. I like my scents to last 263 years. I want to smell it on my clothes after I wash them. I want that smell to be seared into the nostrils of everyone forever. This scent does a good job of staying on me. I'll notice it hours later, which is exceptionally rare. I have a terrible sense of smell, but this one stays. It's not nauseating or loud, but it speaks with volume and confidence. I will 1000% buy another bottle of this. It has become one of my top 5, even surpassing some of my more expensive scents that cost upwards of $ 100 for a smaller bottle. The wearability is fantastic, and it's a scent you'll want to wear. I recommend to anyone looking for a good, strong, crisp, sexy, woodsy, spicy, musky, masculine scent.
