I bought these skates for my boyfriend, they fit him great and it has a good unisex look to it so it can pass for either woman’s or men’s skates. He said they felt comfortable and as a beginner he was able to skate perfectly in them. He skated on them right out of the box just fine so they do come sharpened, but for a smoother glide feel I would recommend sharpening the blades. Nice classic black skates for people who don’t want to look like princesses or hockey players. The toe pick of figure skates gives newer skaters more confidence. The instructions for outlining the foot and measuring the size are great. Nice fit. There is a plush edge around the cuff, but these skates are not terribly comfy, like sneakers. Ice skates have to be stiff and supportive. These keep your feet warm enough and the blade is ready to go. When I first started wearing these skates, I was highly impressed with the comfortability of them. I have very high arches and they hugged in all the right places. I had no problems on the ice. Highly recommend the price point is amazing.

My daughter goes skating regularly and she is so happy with these new skates. The boots look very sturdy, new and, comfy. Overall 5 stars for the quality. The size fits real as well.
