Description

Celebrate the fun and beauty of seashells with four new postcard stamps from the United States Postal Service. Whimsical and lighthearted, the stamp art features stylized depictions of four seashells: the alphabet cone, the zebra nerite, the Pacific calico scallop, and the Queen conch, frequently called the pink conch. The horizontal swaths of white and blue in the background suggest waves washing the shells onto a beach. These value of these stamps allows them to mail a one ounce postcard in the U.S. but additional postage will be required to mail a letter. This listing is for 80 stamps (4 sheets of 20).

I used the stamps on my daughter’s wedding announcement RSVP postcards. All stamps were in tact when the postcards were returned by guests. These are Forever postcard stamps so they do not loose their postal rate value and only one is needed for standard postcards. Survived Hurricane Harvey licking my door and visiting my garage. To celebrate that my home was spared the worse and only had some seepage bought the seashells by the seashore. It does not look like stamps at all but like sticker book quality you give to kids or some women for presents who scrapbooks. I like the seashells and didn't realize they are postcard postage. I solved that by buying an equal number of extra ounce stamps, 20 cents each. Very happy with my solution.
