  • Good for school
Bought these for my grandson for school. They seem to work fine.

  • Made in US - Your Standard Index Cards
Work great as flash cards - I use them for my language classes. They aren't made of thick paper or very rigid, so a heavy marker might bleed through and they are fairly flexible. However for me they are exactly what I expect out of an index card. If you just want to note down your recipes or study for class, these work. For comparison, I also bought the pricier 'Assorted Glow Colors' ruled index cards from Oxford (also made in USA) and they are very similar. Oxford's cards are softer/smoother to the touch but are virtually the same in terms of thickness. ... show more

  • Prepare yourself with these classic 3 x 5 cards!
With my daughter starting high school, things are getting serious. She will need to prepare for school reports and speeches. She will have to study for exams. With these index cards, she now has the confidence to prepare for the tasks ahead. These came in a package of 100 and should last the school year. They are the classic 3 x 5 cards I remember from school. Every good student will want to have these. *As a bonus, they are blank on the back and my daughter has cleverly flipped them over to create artful labels for her subject notebooks! ... show more

  • Seriously overpriced, quality ok
These are seriously overpriced. I went to target the other day and got the same sized, same count deck of index cards for only 50 cents. I got these cards for a summer project, not for studying. So it was just really a one time use. However, if you are looking for cards to study, don't get these either. Make a trip to walmart and buy a few packs of five star branded index cards. They have better quality and probably cheaper than these. However, the quality is not bad, little bit better than the off brand 50 cent ones from target. ... show more

  • Decent thickness
I'm working on learning another language, so I needed index cards to write words/phrases on, to help with memorization. Some index cards are made very thin, and that makes them a little harder to work with (not to mention it makes them a little more see-through than I'd like), but these cards are nice and thick. I purchased the smallest count, so I could make sure I like them, first... I'll be buying more. ... show more

  • Did the job
I purchased the cards as stiffeners for a mailing. They seem to have done the job.

  • What Happened Index Cards.... It's like I don't even know you anymore.
Internets, it's a pack of index cards from Mead, it is what it is and what it is is no surprise. What is however is the drastic change in price. I picked up a pack for 44 cents that's ($0.44) back in October of 2009. After getting my order, the automated pricing system hiked up the cost and has kept it that way ever since. Having a prime account made that purchase awesome, but now it's not. The awesome is gone. Mead 100 count 3x5 index cards (ruled) gets one (margins make this impractical to buy) out of five. $3.49 for a pack of index cards, yeah right, I'd rather drive to office max and pay 79 cents. If you're anything like me, you don't want to drive to a store and waste time on that, just for index cards... I get it and I agree. The simplest and well easiest move is to buy Index Cards: Pendaflex Oxford, 3x5 Inches, White, Ruled, Other Boring Facts, 1000 Cards the trip to a store isn't worth your time or gas or life. Cheers. ... show more

  • School Supplies
This year I purchased my 7th graders school supplies from Amazon for the first time. The ordering is easy and the free shipping with Amazon Prime made getting ready for the school year a breeze. Price wise I know I came out ahead as going to the stores always results in purchasing more than what I actually need. ... show more
