These are the only rain boots we’ve bought that have held up with no leaks ever! We’ve bought 5 pairs for our family over the course of the last 3 years and none of them have leaked. I bought my original pair for my child’s Halloween costume and thankfully that led to the discovery of how great these boots are. They slip on easily and keep my kids’ feet completely protected from the elements. They are lightweight and function just as we’d hoped! I recommend getting them slightly large for your kid to grow into them and you’ll get more use out of them. We found that they are true to size. I love the cute pink sole on them and it helps us to easily distinguish these for my daughter from our other pairs for her siblings. These are really great quality boots over all and I’m so glad we finally found a brand that doesn’t get cracks or leaks! Having four of my own kids, it’s saves me money and hassle when we can pass down boots through the different kids so this was a great investment that has served us well since they hold up so well and can be passed down to younger siblings. I’m really happy with these boots. They arrived right on time and fit my son perfectly right out of the box, which is always a relief when ordering online. The material feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some other kids’ boots we’ve tried. My son is pretty rough on his shoes—running, jumping in puddles, and general kid chaos—and these have held up great so far. They’re fully waterproof and keep his feet dry, which is exactly what we needed for our rainy days. Have had these for 8 months and used on and off for a 7 yr old boy. He has normal sized feet and they fit nice and maybe even snug or 'perfect'. Not all floppy around like some oversized boot. It makes him want to use/wear the boot more. NO issues with cracking. WE use them as motorcycling boots too since they are stiff enough that they provide some protection. I have done a TON of research and looked at every boot in every store in my town, Bellingham, wa that was available. This is the best for the buck. Good traction, thick, protective, doesn't crack, name brand and fits nice and normal. can wear for hours. All the others had issues like: too thin (easily poke hole), no traction (whats the point? mud? hello!), known for cracking in the bend-zones or ugly or too expensive. The only other option worth considerinng are the brown boots that look like dads big ones. Neoprene boots. They are about 23$ and probably much high quality rubber/neoprene. Sold at lfs. They are thin though. And lower levels of traction on bottom of boot. I may try a pair for my other son to see how it goes. The toe protection allows a kid to kick something pretty harrd and not hurt toes. Thinner boots won't offer the same protectiion. I would buy these again, but wish a local shop provided them so we could get thhe right size everytime. Updated: bought two more sets of these awesome boots for my other kids. Simply love them. Best bang for the buck out there. Period. ... show more

My daughter loved these! Kept her feet warm while she played in the mud during her sisters soccer game I will say she got mud IN her boot but I don’t know that it wasn’t her and not the boot but I was a little bummed that she somehow got mud inside the boot Over all though we are very pleased. The were comfortable for her and beside the mud coming in, her foot did stay dry. Thankfully it was pretty easy for her to clean the mud off her boots in the grass ... show more

Everything about these boots screams quality. They are not another mass produced, rebranded item put on Amazon to turn a quick profit. Unlike a few other pairs that we tried, these came in a proper shoe box, labeled well, and packed beautifully. Though they were too big for my son, (I expected they might be, trying a size up), we gifted them to a friend who loves them! They are not soft, flimsy, lightweight boots. They’ve got a robust sole, that appears ready to tackle a lot of use. They also are taller than the others we tried, which for kids playing in mud, and splashing in puddles, is a win. The price was right, and had they fit better, I would’ve preferred my son kept them. Had he not needed boots immediately, I might have exchanged them for his correct size. But I’m glad our friend will enjoy them. He spends a lot of time in his parents garden and is going to get a lot of use out of these! ... show more

Perfect fit. Ordered these for my small footed mom. She loves them and wears them for more than just rainy days. She says they are comfortable. They are a touch heavy. But that is because of the quality of the rubber.

My kids have not worn these outside officially so I can not attest to longevity but I will say they fit well. My son is about a 12.5 so I got 13 and he has plenty of room to grow. They are not too narrow but are more narrow than other brands of rain boots. My daughter is a 13 to 13.5 and I got the 1. It fits great with room to grow. She has narrow feet...not technically measured as narrow but very close. I like that they are designed more narrow because they stay on better. If they hold up poorly I will update this review. My nieces and nephews live on a farm and all wear these. They only last a season for them, well close to a year, as they wear in fall and spring, summer, but they wear them really hard on the farm. For my kids I do not anticipate a problem. My son loves the red ones and calls them Power Ranger Boots. I like that they are inexpensive and look more like Hunter rain boots. Perhaps if your child has a wide foot, these would not be for you, or size up more. For a medium or narrow foot I'd say they are true to size. ... show more
