First of all let me say that I'm petrified that I even had to buy this ! My son is planning a trip to Florida and really wants to learn to surf. I'm not a fan and as a mother I'm not even going to lie it scares me to death. I made sure to double check and the double check everything again. This leash really seems like it's strong and durable. The fabric parts are very good quality and made thick so I'm less worried about it fraying or unraveling. The coil has good stretch and is firmly attached to the ankle band and the part that connects to the board. The velcro strip that connects the cuff to his ankle is wide making it less likely to come apart while he's surfing. We checked for comfort as well, because if it's uncomfortable he won't want to wear it, and thank goodness it's comfortable and lightweight so it doesn't bother him when he's wearing it. Whereas this doesn't completely alleviate my fears, it does help to calm me some knowing he has a very strong and durable lifeline should he need it. I ordered this in pink but it’s definitely a neon red-ish color. Not pink at all. Although it would still do the job it’s made for, I wanted true pink. Returned it.

Very durable and heavy duty leash for your paddleboard I got it for my paddleboard because every time I fell off it Liked go float way now I do not have to worry about that this is very comfortable around my ankle highly recommend it for anybody that has a paddleboard this is a must have

I absolutely love the leash in this kit! Solid, durable, and comfortable to wear. The "waterproof " case however is another story. I have used plenty of these bags before and put my phone and key inside and took care to ensure a proper and uninhibited seal for the case for my SUP adventure. However, after returning to shore, i found water in the case which destroyed my charge port on my phone, among other things. Don't trust the bag! ... show more
