Great for use with dusting mop heads on my 22' ceiling but the dust and cobwebs fall everywhere. Now, if only they adapted it to attach to a vacuum cleaner up the existing telescoping tube to a ceiling wiper brush.....then it would be perfect!!

Have only used two times to change bulbs, using the suction type. It locked out in a secure manner (just be careful not to do a gorilla tightening if you want to retract it :). Worked well to do bulbs 18 feet up and will reach the ceilings and skylights of our clubhouse so they can be dusted without risk. Also plan to use a window scrubber/squeeze combo on windows about 14't up with no other access. Idea is to eliminate risks as much a possible. When extended it seemed pretty sturdy. I'd be careful with the bulb changers that fit over the end and tighten with wing nuts to be sure you don't damage threads - I didn't notice any damage. Might be nice if there was an indention where the wing nut bolt could fit in so that damage could not occure -- suspect you can modify it yourself for that. I bought this to put an upside broom brush on the end so I could use it to clean off the pine needles and other debris from my gutters that I covered this past summer with a stainless steel mesh. The gutter covers work great except where we live there are a lot of fir/pine trees that drop copious amounts of needles on the roof which eventually find them selves deposited on the gutter covers and then the water runs over them instead of in them. Considering parts of my roof are 15 feet or slightly more from the ground I needed a way to effectively and easily clean the needles from the covers. I ordered this telescopic pole, screwed the brush on the end and it works just like I wanted it to. The pole is well constructed and telescopes or holds its position well. As poles go this is a good one. This is my 2nd Unger pole, and I believe they are worth what they cost. Strong but not too heavy. I only gave it 1 star for suction, because it doesn't suck.

Does not "click connect" to all types of tools. The different brand attachments that I purchased (said to work by other reviewers) did not actually connect completely and when not careful the attachment fell from about 20 feet in the air down to my newly sanded/stained wood floors. The longer you extend it, the less pressure can be applied while using do to "leverage" issues, but definitely is better than not reaching at all. The pole is good, but recommend buying the tools specifically made for it, ... show more

Excellent item for the job. I mounted the "Gutter Sense gutter cleaning tool" onto it and used a long rope for getting the job done. Found it strong and sturdy for two hours of cleaning. We definitely like it. The only problem using such a long pole is that you have to support it on the ground or a deck and use the second hand to pull the rope to tighten the debri to be pulled out off the gutters. Second, putting the leaf debri down needs lot of strength to hold is and swing it around. Once you get a hang of it, excellent reach to clean up the mess in gutters. I have a skylight at a height of 20+ feet, with awkward placement above a flight of stairs. The cobwebs were multiplying exponentially, and blasting a hair dryer at them did nothing (not surprising, but was the only thing I could think of). So I bought this extension handle and the flat cobweb destroyer from the same co. In 5 minutes flat my flat was cobweb-free. Now, it weighs a few lbs, and even completely collapsed it’s 6? Feet long ... so there is a risk of clobbering your walls as you try to maneuver... but worth it. (I didn’t receive this for free, but how do you get on that list? ) ... show more

I bought the 7 - 20 foot telescoping pole and, though a little difficult to maneuver due to the 20 ft length, it is ideal for my use. In time I'll master the 15+ lengths.
