Fit well after trimming to fit. Tip: Fit mat to floor of cabinet, push fabric into the crease where it needs to be cut and run a sharpie down the crease to cut for a perfect fit. Love that this is absorbent on top and waterproof underneath. My previous home had a slightly "bloated" and bumpy wood floor from 24 years of small spills and/or leaks. When I bought my house, under the kitchen sink was a spatter of some black stuff all over the hoses, floor and walls. While the hoses went away when I replaced the dishwasher, I decided to paint the rest with Kilz to cover it all up. Unfortunately, the paint made it hard to move things around, and it did stop the spread of a leak I was trying really hard to find. I decided to spend a day chasing the leak, and then putting down a tray or something so it wouldn't ooze onto the floor. Well, I fixed it. Yay! But when I got this, I was a little disappointed that it's really not much more than a thick fabric with a rubberized underside. I though it was a thicker mat. I guess I didn't read carefully enough. Nevertheless, because it's thin, I was able to trim it with a utility knife to fit the space. I tested it with a bit of water, and sure enough it didn't go anywhere, which is the entire point. I feel confident that if I still haven't conquered the leak, it's not going to affect as much as before. It's also noise dampening, so moving things around and pulling the trash can in and out isn't like a drumbeat. I think it's really good, in the end. Well worth the investment. ... show more

So I have been using the the same mat for 1.5 years now. I've had leaks a few times under my sink and this has done it's job very well. When it's wet, I can tell and immediately address the issue. I was able to dry vacuum the mat to take out the excess water and reuse. Unfortunately, the mat is very uneven o the edges, however, it works well for myself. There have been leaks that have gone over the mat BUT at that point its a leak where I can ignore and I was able to address the leak. I think it's worth the buy! ... show more
