I wish I had this when I played 20+ years ago. We were given long-sleeve cotton t-shirs to wear under our jersey (and we played in shorts back then!!) I get cold easily, and with two girls playing outdoor sports, I decided it was time to find a good base layer. I wanted something I could wear under all the spirit wear, without needing to cover it up with a heavy coat. I've worn this a few times at random, and actually thought it might be too warm. I wore it today to run softball drills with my daughter. (It was sunny and only 35 degrees.) All I did was throw to her at 1B from all over the infield, and then I caught while she practiced pitching. I had on this UA 4.0 Base Layer, and a thick hoodie. (I also wore the UA 4.0 Base Layer leggings under my Eddie Bauer weather pants). With the exception of my sensitive ears and my hands... I was toasty!! Sweaty is probably more accurate. I'm looking forward to games starting here in a couple weeks! I might not have to buy one of those personal spectator tents! Haha! The only thing I don't like is I can't buy more colors!! ... show more
