Size: 11 Color: Halo Gray (102)/Halo Gray
Week 1: Size/fit: I would order a half size up! The size of these are amazing. Not too bulky and the material of the shoe gives it a nice and snug fit. Around the ankle and heel area is really secure also due to the way they designed the shoe! Unfortunately, it seems like workout shoes have gotten a little narrow year after year. I used to be a 10.5 for the metcon 4s. I tried the 5s, but I ended up returning them because I didn't like the size and the fit even though I went a half size up. I also ended up trying the reebok nano x, but I ended up returning those also. I didn't like the bulky feeling of the nanos especially since I had to go a 1/2 size up. I really like the size and fit on the tribase reign 3 over the nanos and the metcons Style: the color ways are way better than last year! I got the light grey and white style, and I love the style of the shoe. A huge improvement compared to the color ways last year. Kudos to the design team of under armour they are getting this right! Performance: BEST OVERALL WORKOUT SHOE! With the perfect mixture comfort, stability, and performance versatility these are the best shoes out of the box. NO BREAK IN PERIOD NECESSARY! Compared to the metcons, the tribase reign 3s are way more comfortable. The stability of the metcons do have the slight edge, but with a 2mm heel drop you won't have any problem in these with any workout. When I was doing kettlebell swings, cleans, and snatches not once did I have an issue with gripping the floor. I've never done olympic lifts or participated in crossfit, but I truly believe these shoes will perform well with those particular lifts. With squats and deadlifts these performed well. Squats in particular, I didn't feel any compression. I would believe these would perform well up until 315+lbs. So far so good. I highly recommend this shoe! I will update you after a month, and after 6 months on the durability of the shoe. ... show more

  • Finally a Cross Training Shoe I like
Size: 10.5 Color: Pitch Gray (101)/Pitch Gray
I've tried both Reebok Nanos and Nike Metcons, and have never been happy with either of them, so I wanted to try something different. I researched the UA Tribase Reign 3 shoes and decided to give them a try. I've been using them for about two months now and I'm very happy with them. I've done some strongman with them (heavy yoke, stones) and a lot of CrossFit WODs with squats, deads, and the olympic lifts. And they've been awesome with everything. I always feel solid when going heavy, and they're comfortable to wear. I've done some WODs that included heavy lifting mixed with some runs. I've run up to 800 m in them and they're perfectly adequate for that distance. I didn't give them a 5 because as some reviewers have mentioned, they are narrow in the toe box. If I'm standing around not doing anything I feel it, but while I'm working out I never notice it all. I do have an average to slightly wider foot size. Yet I still find them more comfortable shoes to wear than the Nanos or Metcons. I typically wear a 10.5 US shoe size and ordered these in that size. They fit perfectly except for being slightly narrow as mentioned before. ... show more

  • I would recommend ordering 1/2 size up
Size: 10.5 Color: Pitch Gray (101)/Pitch Gray
The gym is my happy place and a solid performing shoe is a must. I workout 5-6 days a week 50 minutes free weights followed by 40-50 minutes high intensity cardio in a indoor setting. This trainer felt a little snug but not tight and kinda comfortable while doing back and biceps but noticed my heel lifting from sole of shoe while doing standing weighted calf raises. During my sprinting/power walking segment of cardio my pinky toe seemed to be rubbing against side of toe box. And finally around the 20 minute of power walking my whole foot was becoming uncomfortable wearing these. I know this was a brand new shoe out of the box and it takes times to wear them in. I am not complaining I am just sharing my 1st experience to wearing the shoe during my workout. If u r considering these I recommend trying half size up and for the record my wife thought these looked great on and I should use them as my everyday casual shoe. ... show more

  • Under rated shoe, great for working out!
Size: 12 Color: Victory Green (300)/Victory Green
You hear a lot about the Nike Metcons and Reebok Nanos. Both those shoes are too wide for me. These are perfect. I generally go a half size up for all my running and workout shoes. Im 11.5 foot (12N in boot size) and size 12 works well for me in these shoes. Good fit, not a lot of lift in the heal, so pretty flat, how I like them. If you are a power lifter they maybe too shallow in lift. But for all around fitness, oly lifts, kettlebells and sandbags with some running they are great. Once I like a shoe, I try to buy more since manufacturers are always changing the design. I will be buying more of these for sure. ... show more

  • Underated champs of Crossfit gym
Size: 9.5 Color: Black (001)/Black
I've had several different trainers over the last few years for functional fitness. Nobull, Nike, New Balance and Reebok all make great ones. I had little expectation for my first pair of Under Armour, but the Tribase Reign 3 knock it out of the park. The soft knit upper with elastic compression feels like a sock. Add that with the Micro G cusion and the Tribase support you have an all around trainer that can do it all. Runs are much better in these than my other options and the Tribase is great for lifting too. ... show more

  • I love these shoes!
Size: 7 Color: Academy Blue (401)/Mod Gray
Things I use at the gym wearing these shoes: Weights, Stationary bike, Bosu ball, Stair machine, Ellipitcal, Rowing Machine, Treadmill (sprints), Body weight exercises. Comfort: Awesome! I've got short/wide feet (not quite hobbit-like) Support: Terrific support with Deadlifts, Squats, Leg Presses. But not so stiff that you can't comfortably sprint in these! Durability: I workout in these 5-6 times a week for an hour or two at time. My not quite hobbit-like feet combined with 200 lbs of bodyweight have yet to put a dent into these after a few months. ... show more
