I love this case, especially the minimalist design. The material is perfect! It’s somewhat flexible, but feels sturdy at the same time. I love the feel of the material too. I appreciate the simple grip design on the sides to prevent slipping. There is a slight raise around the perimeter of the screen which I love. I don’t want my screen touching surfaces if I were to place it face down. My only gripe is the back cutout frame for the camera. I wish it was a different material or design. It’s a shiny plastic frame and takes away from the aesthetics overall. However, this is a trivial problem. For this price, I’m a happy customer. ... show more

While this case doesn't have as much of a lip to protect the screen as tougher (and more expensive) models do, it still provides adequate protection for the phone itself. I bought this case because the write-up said it was built to keep from slipping out of your hands. I had a CaseMate for years that I cannot find any more. So I got this one. The bottom of the sides are textured, but I have had this slip out of my hands almost once a day since I got it. The screen protector is now cracked, and possibly the screen is chipped. The CaseMate I had for years was slowly falling apart, but it was made of a softer, truly anti-slip material. This case appears to be sturdy itself, but it is not soft nor anti-slip, and it does not adequately protect the phone. It just transmits the shock to the phone. (iPhone 8) I do not recommend it. Great fit, awesome grip and unbelievanle price for my recent "hand-me-down" (i.e. "new for me") iPhone 7. I am rather finicky on my choice of iPhone cases and this UnbreakCable was a surprising find. I got it in blue but for the price I may get another one in green or black. I can't speak to the wear and tear as I still got it but the surface treatment looks and feels very promising when compared to other ruberized finishes that tend to either dull or peel over time: this one feels a bit harder yet very pleasant to the touch. The sides on the lower bottom (where one would hold the phone most naturally) have a very reassuring grip pattern making it unique among the many other brands and models I experienced over the years. ... show more

I really like this case and the thin profile. It is not bulky in any way and is very easy to hold due to the grips on each side. It dissipates heat well so your phone does not overheat while in use or charging via wireless charging. It is a question as to protection if dropped, and since I rarely drop my phone I can't really say, except the grips really make it difficult to drop the phone. I am using this case on my iPhone 8 and it fits extremely well, and allows the phone to be slipped into and removed from the case easily. The buttons feel so close to the buttons on the phone that you almost think you are pressing the buttons on the phone. The openings for sound, cable connection, camera, and silent are exact as are the buttons.
