These nail tips are a great value for the price point and they look great. There’s a lot of size options in the pack, so it’s easy to find the ones that fit my nails the best. They stayed on very well even when exposed to a lot of water and a lot of home DIY projects. One did pop off, but I was ready to remove it anyways by the time it popped off so I would say the removablility, when desired, shouldn’t be an issue. I really like the short length of these nails. Normally, I have to trim a lot off of a nail to get it. The short length that I need, but with these nails, they are already at the length that I like. I didn’t have to buff and smooth out rough edges because I didn’t need to cut them. I will say that the style UV lamp makes a difference in how easy they are to apply. If using the traditional style UV lamp, it is a lot more tricky to apply these nails by yourself. I have a travel style UV lamp and the open end makes it much easier for me to apply these nails by myself because I can press the nail down with my free hand while the light is on curing the gel.

I’m really happy with these nail tips! The variety of sizes made it easy to find the perfect fit for each nail, and having 504 pieces means there are plenty for multiple sets. Pattern Name: Medium Almond
I ordered the medium almond length for use primarily for vacations, special occasions, etc. I’m on a self-taught nail journey and researched a ton before I purchased these. I had previously tried out the Melody Susie brand and found those to be MUCH too thick and despite having curved nail beds, their brand of structured nail tips just did not fit my nail beds nor did they feel like they would be comfortable due to the thick plastic and rigidity. I had wanted to purchase the Apres tips for brand knowledge/quality, but couldn’t justify the price for use a few times a year on top of the wasted product simply to practice with. After the Melody Susie tips were a dud, I tried these and found them much more flexible and comfortable. I have longer, narrower, curved nail beds and used the largest size for my thumbs, then mostly larger to mid-sized for all but the pinkies. I’m surprised at the sizes I needed considering I’m thin with narrower nail beds, but “gel x” inspired tips need to fit completely sidewall to sidewall. Just a recommendation to use YouTube or other platforms for research to fit and apply these safely and for greatest retention. I used the Una Gella UV/LED glue and was surprised how thin it is—I was expecting a similar viscosity to a builder or hard gel and this was quite runny so that added to the learning curve. Once I figured out the sequencing, I used a flash cure lamp and pressed the on button first, then grabbed the nail tip and loaded the glue, pressing down at a 45 degree angle and firmly holding the nail in place to flash cure. I used a light brush of glue to the natural nail as well. Once all in place, I fully cured in my large lamp then started back with my efile for the shaping and filing of the cuticle edge to gently taper down to the natural nail. I followed that with a rubber base gel to seal the cuticle edge and then used a cat eye and flash glitter for a modern French tip. I did glue a few tips on crooked/rotated but the glue cures nearly immediately under the lamp, and it is what it is. For my first attempt ever using tips, I think I did okay. They’re way too long for my normal life, but I put them on for a special occasion so now I need to just deal with it until that day comes and goes. They’re s*xy AF, imo. I like that they are soak-off so I can just clip them down, file them with the efile so acetone is easier to penetrate, and start over. I’ll try the short almond and short ballerina next. Hope this review helps!

Thank you for reading my review. This review is for ladies & gentlemen who want an honest opinion. Now the review: First off I am beginning my at home diy nail journey 🥳💅 so your girl had to research for a week on the internet YouTube and google everything about Gel X soft full cover tip nails then I headed on my way to the Amazon app to be a baddie on a budget lol and get myself right cause these nail salons are terrible hygiene and outrageous prices. These nails were recommended to me by a lot of videos I came across and they are advertised as easy to use and simple to apply for beginners. OK I got excited 🤩 and I purchased the ‘short square’ option and the ‘short oval’ too cause I like options when it comes to my nails. They got delivered they came in a nice organized tackle box style container with number’s matching the nails number’s and everything. The down side is they smell SO BAD like plastic and chemicals child I had to wear a mask when handling them. Ok next is THE SHAPE AT THE CUTICLE I had to file them round for 1 hour hyping my silly self up that they’re gonna be worth it just put the effort in girl lol. So done with that step and sizing, the sizing was a long process because I have very small nails and most didn’t fit my nails because of how small my nails are. They do bend easy with no creases to your nail shape for folks like me that have flat nails and if you have a tight C curve you can adjust it to the C curve too. The nails are thick at the tip and thin at the cuticle. They feel sturdy and durable like thin acrylic nail’s. I purchased a BIAB (builder gel in a bottle) from a high end luxury brand and tried applying these 7 times. Everything took me 9 hours to figure out and prep and attempt to apply then I got so frustrated I just cried and said “Lord Jesus Christ help me Lord I don’t wanna do these nails no more” then I looked up how to do builder gel overlays and it only took me 1 hour to do both hands with the BIAB. These press on’s are not for beginners at least not for me. I do like that the bottom is already filed for the stick ability when you put them on but they were just too difficult and hard to maneuver onto my small nails. Btw if you do purchase get the longer ones it would be so much easier to use and apply.
