I purchased the Ultrasonic Cleaner with a touch of skepticism, but I'm happy to say that it has truly proven its worth over time. Over the course of a few days, I began noticing the gradual disappearance of those stubborn calcium deposits that had been plaguing my night guard. Even some of the discoloration started to fade away, which was a pleasant surprise. The device is straightforward to use and maintain. Its simplicity is one of its strong points – no complex instructions or convoluted buttons. The noise level is reasonable, especially when the lid is placed on top, making it an unobtrusive addition to my routine. One thing I found beneficial was using a Retainer Cleaning Tablet in conjunction with each cleaning cycle. While I can't say definitively if it significantly impacts the cleaning process, it neutralizes any lingering odors and adds a feeling of extra freshness. I have been using this ultrasonic cleaner for over a month now. I use it solely for cleaning my Invisalign aligners and I am very satisfied with it. My aligners have never been so clean. This cleaner is by far better than brushing aligners: it cleans much better, it's less messy, and saves my toothbrush. I use this several times a day. Whenever I am going to eat, I also clean my aligners. The cycle runs for about 5 minutes. I am a coffee drinker and my aligners were stained, no matter how much I brushed them. I replace aligners once a week. They look like new after each time I use the ultrasonic cleaner not so long after having a cup of coffee. I am very satisfied with this cleaner and would buy it again. It has a bit of a noise but in my view it's a small downside for the great job it does. ... show more

This ultrasonic cleaner works great and is less than half the price of the now going viral Zima Dental ultrasonic cleaner on the market. Both of these have the same exact specs and operate at 42kHz. The only difference is how they look, but this one is still pretty low profile and is easy to use with a single on and off touch button. For me, I use it for my clear smile direct club aligners about 2 to 3 times a week and find that they come out squeaky clean each and every time (with or without a cleaning tablet) If you're interested in getting an ultrasonic cleaner for your retainers, but don't want to pay the price for a Zima, then this one is as close as you can get for the quality of cleaning! ... show more

With some categories of product, I've learned, you cannot plan on buying a quality item and expect it to last forever. No matter how much or little you spend, some stuff lasts only a few years before it wears out -- toasters never make it past 7 years for instance. So you have to get yourself used to the idea that you're going to replace it every so often, and refuse to let yourself get emotionally involved with the device or even spend more, expecting that an expensive item has better quality. I've learned that that's the case for any sort of ultrasonic cleaner suitable for dental appliances, because I've never had one survive for more than three years. After the last one died, we chose this one. So far, so good. It does its job: the cleaner cleans. No more or less that the other devices we've used, not that we give it a challenging job. The size is right for our needs. It's quiet, or at least quieter than several of the similar devices we've used. It's also lightweight, which isn't a big deal other than the fact that you're filling and emptying it at the sink every time so it might as well not be a drag to use. There's just the one five-minute timer. My previous (late, lamented?) ultrasonic cleaner had 3/5/7 minute buttons which I do miss. It includes a tweezer, which I guess is useful if you use this for jewelry cleaning. I don't object to having another tweezer around the house. All in all, it's adequate for the need and meets expectations for the price. I might have given the cleaner a 5-star rating, except I got a letter in the postal mail asking me for a 5-star review and offering me some kind of reward for doing so. Sorry, folks -- that lost you the star. If you had asked for an honest review, it'd be fine; but please don't ask me to game the system. ... show more

This was just what I wanted for my Invisalign retainers! You can see from the picture how dingy the retainer got without the use of a cleaner, even though I would brush them atleast twice a day! With the cleaner, it barely had any staining. It's fast and easy to use- I drop them in with some denture cleaner tablets, go about my morning/night routine (brush teeth, put moisturizer on, etc) and 5 minutes later the cleaning is done. Sometimes residue would still be on it, which was easily removed with a toothbrush. Definitely worth the price for this little machine. I wish I had bought it sooner! ... show more
