Good quality for an inexpensive bag. Bought for when we went on a cruise so we had a bag we could take off the ship with us that would be easy to carry around. It worked great! We were able to fit so much stuff in it were still be able to just throw it on your back.

Surprisingly light weight material that is strong and holds well and is colorful. Good material, zipper. Nice stitching at critical points. Shoulder loops better than many lower cost bags but a little flimsy and must be pay attention when putting on to get full benefit of their size/slight padding impact-but better than most unless pay more. I use on commute and bicycle rides. Held close to 15 # no problem including my back up water bottles. Repelled light rain well. Not noticed (yet) sweat issue on build up on bag or penetrating into bag-but hot temps not here yet but my sweat is high end produced due to hi activity and no problem. Only issue was slight tear occurred at loop seam when putting it on due to my poor body mechanics with an old shoulder injury. Just been more careful on how I put on since and no signs of further issue-most users should be fine but good not to put undue stress on such seams by smart suit up. In cycling lot of bag weight is supported by your back when in drop or hood/bar position which reduces stress on bag as well as less jolts then if hiking so the heavy weights I have successfully used may not be as well tolerated in hiking/running. Great bag for transporting back up food/bev, equipment, lock, shoes, etc, I do double bag my clothes in plastic bag in case sweat penetration or extra water bottle leak. Use to often carry cycling clothes to change into if need more or less layers too. ... show more

This backpack did it's job. We took it on a tour of Europe over a three-week period. It held all kinds of items and went all over the continent. It was very travel-friendly and stayed water resistant even in the English morning rains. The backpack was lightweight and very comfortable; it mostly felt like nothing was on our backs. The zipper worked well. My complaint, and the reason I gave it 3 stars, is it split just below the zipper on the last week. It was such a great bag until the end. I was hoping to get more usage out of it, but there was no recovering. I enjoyed this bag. I think the price was good for the quality. For the price, I don’t think this can be beaten for what it does. Ripstop nylon, zipper is fine-toothed but works cleanly. Doesn’t dump its contents if opened when full. I did notice the stitch holes in the bottom show light through when full, but that only matters for water resistance.

I’ve used this on two trips and I will be using it for a third in a few days. This is a good daypack and works for my uses but I do have concerns with capacity. The fabric is so thin, I do not put more than what is absolutely necessary for that day. It folds down small and is able to store in my travel backpack with ease. I carry one large hardback book, a small paperback book, papers, and a soft pencil case. I may toss in a few other items to get through the day, but I do worry about the fabric splitting.
