I bought this before Christmas for my son's February Birthday. He just opened it for his birthday this evening. He loves it! When he was in preschool he was one to never sleep, unless he had a bad cold. Yet he was still a ball of energy when he got home. Now he is 7. Because we live where there is snow this year in February, and we have just come out of negative temps, he can't play it outside yet. But he still set the colored cones around the living room and played. And used up energy. Then his 13 1/2 year old brother watched and wanted to play. I can picture the fun they will have when the weather is better and they have more room. Maybe the adults will join them. Then I am thinking that I need to tell the P.E. Teacher at work about this game (3 or four sets of these for really cool relay races?) Then youth groups!!!!!! Everything seems well made. Mom was a hit with this present!

Ok so it works great, packaging was very slightly damaged but still fine for gift giving. I feel the reason it states 6 years old because the colors are a little wonky. I bought for a 4 year old, but playing is easy and he will figure it out we may add some stickers to the bases to make the color match a little better. The Yellow color lights up more of a white with a yellowish tint. There is a magenta base that matches a light up of a purplish magenta color but the base that looks purple the light that goes with it is more bluish purple. We grandparents had a fun time competing just to make sure the toy worked before wrapping it. Oh and don't lose directions - the directions are clear, but you would have a hard time figuring it out without them.

***Edit*** Contacted the company who makes this. They sent out a replacement. So far no problems. Not the problem of this seller, other than it seems they have a different style packaging and our instructions were placed prominant to spanish speaking and the replacement to english. That said, this is still a really fun toy to have around and really glad the company came thru. Got this to give as a gift for my daughter for her birthday. My daughter LOVES it! It is a fun, competitive and fast moving game meant to get you moving. It is fun to run around and set up your own obstacle course to get to the color you need and see who can better the time. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT when it got stuck on a color. We found, after playing for about 30 minutes, the middle button on the bottom of the wand keeps getting stuck, therefore you can't get the next color and your left listening to the sound and seeing the color waiting to be found, no matter how many times you mash it into the cup. This would be a 5 star toy if they can fix that one fatal flaw. We are able to get it to come loose with work and play, but it continues to get stuck and leaves us wanting to play more!

I bought this toy used and was labeled as used in good condition. It was ordered back in March, but just got opened due to busy schedules. I opened up the part where batteries go in and each section for a battery was rusted out. I cleaned it off as best as possible and put batteries in anyways to test if it worked. Unfortunately, it did not work. I have seen and used this toy before so I know that it works and is a fun and great toy. I am not shaming the product, but am very disappointed in the seller for selling it labeled in good condition when it is clearly broken. I tried buying it used to shop sustainably, but I guess I should’ve just bought it new.

So this is a great game. Can actually be used by kids football coaches for warmups etc. Older ones love it and it teaches color recognition and coordination to the younger ones. Really a lot of fun and gets the kids up and moving and away from a screen. That being said, the packaging is absolutely horrid. Ordered 3 of these intending to keep one and give the others as gifts but all the packages came beat up and torn and looked like they were previously opened. Plus all 3 compartments had different levels of battery corrosion. Despite this, they all worked well after I finished cleaning them. So I ended up having extra pieces much to the delight of the kids who each got to have their own wand. However that still leaves me looking for 2 gifts!

We LOVE this game at our house! Keeps the kids (and adults active) and it’s super energetic and fun! I love that on lazy days we can get it out for some quick bursts of cardio. Only complaint is the packaging has cardboard around the outside of the plastic case. Ours came ripped off and hanging. Not very pretty if you want to give as a gift if it happens for someone else. Another plus - my toddler has been doing great with practicing his colors with this game. It’s a simple concept to understand, and he is totally fine running around playing it on his own.

So last night (4/17/20) I was watching Dope or Nope on youtube. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the channel they buy loads of products and rate them. Their newest episode featured this product and one of the hosts let his daughter play with it. Me having a five year old daughter myself thought this would be a great idea for my daughter who can’t seem to sit still to save her life! It came less than 24 hours and so that was amazing in itself! We played it later that night and was such a blast. We even cut off all the lights and shuffled them around to where we all had to guess. My girlfriend and I are both 25 and had a lot of fun! If I could give more than five stars I would! And for those grown ups who need something fun you could easily turn this into a fun “nonalcoholic” game!
