    • Star material
If you want to be a star at the party and outshine all the other relatives gifts to your little birthday princess, this book set could be a sure bet. In fact she stopped opening the remaining presents and wanted to just start reading the stories right then and there. The books are short but not too short, the illustrations are suitable (with the style exceptions that other reviewers have pointed out) and well done, the quality is good for the price and the box for the set looks durable enough to pass on to the next generation if not abused. A few of the stories seem slightly disjointed to me and could've been written better, but fine literature it's not. It is fodder for four year olds. The twelve books cover most of the currently popular princesses that I'm aware of and all the heroines our newly-minted four year old knows about. She has also just started reading so these are proving to be a good incentive for her. She really is "princess crazy" right now so these are a big hit. ... show more

    • Quality
I took a chance on this Princess Boxed Set of 12 Little Golden Books because I remembered the gold edges from my childhood. After my daughter opened it, everyone—my wife, her mom, sister, and grandma—asked where I got it and assumed I must have spent a fortune. This set is definitely a beautiful collection at a great price, perfect for any daughter to have as a keepsake she’ll treasure forever. I did good this time! ... show more

    • Beautiful boxed set
I love the canvas box that the books come in, it helps keep them all together and damage free. The stories are great, they take about 5-10 minutes per read, perfect for bedtime stories. Highly recommend for the Disney Princess lover in your life.

    • Lovely set of books
I bought this set of books for my girl and she absolutely loves it. The only problem is that I can’t tell what book it is on the side so when we are looking for a particular princess book we will have to dump every book out to find it.

    • Great value!
My 3-year-old is obsessed with this set. She loves all the princesses and loves how she can pick out a book that matches some of her favorite movies. I love that they tell the abbreviated version of the exact stories from the movies. The stories take 5 minutes or so to read. The box that they come in is very nice quality and elegant looking. I’d definitely purchase again or even give as a gift! I got this on sale, which I feel makes the purchase a very good value. If you have a Disney princess lover, it’s a must! ... show more
