  • WORTH EVERY PENNY!! (But size up!)
Where to begin? I’ve been searching for warm, waterproof boots for ages. I’m a size 9.5 shoe but I wear a 10 in classic Ugg boots since they don’t come in half sizes. Before buying these amazing boots I purchased a size 10 in the classic Ugg waterproof snow boot, since I love the warmth and comfort of classic uggs. They were so tight and uncomfortable, they felt like I was wearing cement blocks on my feet. And they looked like cement blocks too. So I didn’t bother sizing up. I tried other brands like Sorrel but they weren’t nearly as warm as Uggs. Then I found these. I’ve never spent $250 on snow boots but these are worth every single penny. I initially ordered a size 10. While they fit, they were a bit snug, and had to be worn with thin socks. I exchanged them for an 11 which did the trick. They are the warmest, softest, most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. The calf/shin area is padded with faux fur so you don’t get any bruising on your shins like with so many other boots. They feel springy with each step. I have a little extra room in the 11’s (10.5 would have been perfect but they don’t make half sizes after size 10) but they don’t feel sloppy big whatsoever - and I’ve never purchased a size 11 shoe in my life. Because these are lined I recommend sizing up at least a half size if you can. I have room for an extra pair of socks for warmth if I want, but they still feel great with just one pair of socks. Last night we had torrential rain in NYC. I wore these boots and stepped in countless deep puddles. My feet stayed completely warm and dry (I also have Raynauds, a condition where your fingers and toes turn white in even mildly cold temps and these are the only waterproof boots that have kept my feet completely warm.) I honestly couldn’t recommend a better boot than these. They are AMAZING. And attractive to boot. Pun intended :) ... show more

  • Super warm, comfortable
After reading reviews on MANY snow boots and trying on several, ultimately went with these Uggs for our trip to Laplands. First, they are lighter than comparable boots. As a petite female, I did not want to lug heavy boots through snow or while walking through cities. Did not require breaking in, wore them straight out of box. Second, they are super warm and waterproof. They held up in teen-degree weather and deep snow. I wore double layer wool socks for standing on ice/frozen roads and kept my feet warm. The inside is lined all the way so it’s nice to have the extra insulation. Third, they are cute! Looked good with jeans and with snow gear, without too much bulkiness. The ability to roll the cuff up or down depending on depth of snow was also a nice feature. I would size up half a size like others said. ... show more

  • Great, Read if you have wide feet
Size: 8.5 Color: Chestnut
I wear a woman’s size 7.5 in open toed shoes/sandals and 8 in close toed shoes. My size fluctuates depending on the type of shoe largely because I have wide feet. I order a size 8.5 and my foot does fit in the shoe. I have a the perfect amount of space for my toes. However, the middle of my foot is a bit tight. It doesn’t rub or blister (granted I always wear socks), and I think with time the leather with give a bit more too. That being said, I do think wearing thicker socks makes for quite a tight fit. That all being said, I will not be returning these as they are SO cute and SO warm. I’ll try to remember to update after January as I am planning on wearing these in waist deep snow. Also, I would not say these give great arch support if you’re flat footed. ... show more

  • Took the time to verify real UGGs...
Ok, after reading all the reviews of fake UGGs, I decided to do the research on whether these were real or not. What are the markings of a fake? I googled this, and found that UGG has put a copyright © next to their UGG name on most of their shoes. They also have included a label inside with a holographic on the label. Also, fake's box labels are wonky, and overall stitching is not as good. The fur is attached to the leather in real UGGs, as opposed to two pieces in fake. I ordered the black, and when they arrived, I closely examined them. No © next to the UGG name, but they did have the holographic on the inside label. There was a sticker that said "faux fur", but if you look inside it's only on the ankle, the foot bed and sides of the foot are shearling wool. The box label was authentic, the inside label was authentic, the stitching was perfect… On to the next test. I went to an UGG shoe store and tried them on there. No © next to the UGG name, had the holographic inside label, same box. Only difference is I tried on the brown/beige instead of the black. So, my conclusion is: - These are real UGGs - They use faux fur around the ankle, but real fur around the foot, at least on the black and grey models - need to go back and double-check at the store, but I've been there twice without buying the boots and I think they're on to me :) As for the overall fit and comfort - THEY ARE UGGS! They are awesome! With socks or without, they are warm and comfortable. Having had UGG shearling boots for over 25 years, I like them a little small, because they do get packed down. I felt these were a little big to start, and they will pack down and become loose over time. ... show more

  • Perfect winter boot!!
Size: 11 Color: Mustard Seed
I have never had a good winter boot and decided to spend the money and finally get something that seemed warm and was also cute! I’m so glad I made the purchase! These Ugg boots are so warm! They are pretty light weight for a winter boot. Traction seems good so far. I have thicker calves and was worried about them being too tight on my calves or that they would look odd. I can’t attest that they do indeed fit perfect and do not look odd at all! I would say I have very thin feet so they aren’t uncomfortable on me but if you have thicker feet they may seem a bit tight. The fur lining is pretty thick which I love but I could see how they could be a bit uncomfortable on others feet for a bit at first. All in all I absolutely recommend these boots and if your like me and have a hard time buying things especially due to the price, do it! You won’t regret it to have comfortable warm feet! ... show more
