These shoes are comfortable and cute. I sized up to a 9 because I thought that would be best with socks but then when I tried them on, I just couldn’t keep my feet in the shoes without the back strap which doesn’t feel substantial. Update: exchanged for 8.5 and my foot still wants to slide out the back without the strap however the strap is short when I wear it behind my heel and barely reached the Velcro. I wonder if this pair is defective. I typically wear an 8/8.5 in most shoes. My foot is not considered wide but it’s on the wide side of normal and these were comfortable. I’m returning for a smaller size.

I love these shoes so much! I just bought my second pair in a different color! I’ve had the black pair for a while and I just bought the sand color. Unfortunately, it seems the sizes are not the same from color to color. I ordered the black in a size 10 and they fit perfectly, the sand color was pretty snug and small when I got the exact same size. I typically wear a 9.5 so I was a little worried to size up considering they don’t carry half sizes past 10 (big eye roll). The size 11 in sand fits but they are a bit big. Thick socks will definitely help. Now on to the important part: I literally moved out of my third floor apartment and into a third floor apartment wearing these shoes! They were so comfortable and high quality I didn’t even have an issue. I wear these shoes most every day because I can’t wear anything else! They are so comfortable I start putting on another shoe and I decide I’d rather just wear these lol. These shoes saved my life! I stepped on a nail once in the parking lot in a city in a state I’ve never been to at 3 am and the nail didn’t even graze my foot! Thanks to these shoes I didn’t end up in the hospital with tetanus! That being said, they are a big of a platform. I would say I am about an inch taller in these shoes.
