The biggest differentiator between these and the really cheap copy-cat version is that the cheap ones use synthetic lambs wool. Synthetic does not and never will equal the abilities of actual sheepskin - two specific areas: keeping feet dry, and keeping feet warm. I have worn these nearly every day since I bought them a couple months ago. They are great for keeping your feet warm and dry driving long distances. I typically wear them with no socks as the interior sheepskin insole eventually molds to your feet shape and keeps them warm and supported. In our northern Michigan cabin I use them like slippers indoors. I also use them around town to run errands when it is cold out but not a lot of deep snow. I purchased also the Uggs waterproofing treatment and not sure what that really does but at $160 a pair, I want these to last a long time. I have also stepped out of the car to re-fuel after a long drive in the winter 'teens and my feet stayed just as warm as they do indoors. Husband loves his new UGGs. Warm and comfortable on the feet. Only complain they feel like two left boots. Next pair we are buying directly from the stoe.

I received my Uggs yesterday. Shipping was fast. It took about a week. I am 6'2" and weigh about 175lbs. My running shoes size is between 11.5-12.5 depending on the brand. I wasn't sure what size to get for the Uggs because of the mixed reviews. I ended up seeing a size 11 for chocolate Uggs for $68 dollars and decided to order them. I figured that it was really cheap and if it didn't fit me, I can give them away. To my surprise, the size 11 fit me perfectly. I tried them on wearing regular ankle socks and sweat pants. I was even able to tuck in my sweat pants in. Overall, who ever said men shouldn't wear Uggs probably never tried them on. I would recommend Uggs to other guys. They are very comfortable, warm, and stylish. I wore them today in lounging pants and a hoodie while running errands. Plus, the price that I got them for is amazing! ... show more
