I went through 3 different winter boots before moving to Alaska before deciding to spend the extra money on these. All the other boots I tried on were clunky Frankenstein monstrocities. A little tight for a size 13 extra wide, and I ordered a 13, but after a day of wearing are conforming to my foot size. It's like putting your foot into a cloud. I'm not a big fan of them rolled down as they came in the box and are displayed in pictures. If you're wondering, yes there are eyelets at the top amd you can lace them all the way, which is what I prefer to do. Bonus for the fur insole too. That is a nice touch for added comfort and warmth. My only complaint is that the fur lined tongue doesn't go all the way to the top when rolled up. I waterproofed the suede upper with scotchguard and mink oil on the leather and we will see how they hold up on the tundra. I'll check back to update if necessary on durability or defects. Update 3 months later: Still awesome! I made it to test in the snow and held up great with ice cleats attached to walk on ice and snow. Comfort all day in cold Alaskan conditions. ... show more
