This one is so soft, has a great weight to it which is perfect in winter months or in a drafty room. Washing it is for sure the biggest pain in the butt with this, I found out from the first time I had it, you can't just throw it in the dryer, even on low setting or no heat, so be diligent on following the washing instructions. I always buy Ugg bedding, it’s always been great quality. This comforter is THICK and super HEAVY. If you get hot at night don’t get these…. This was made for people that live in an igloo, definitely won’t be using during summer time. The only reason I subtracted a star is because the smoother side isn’t as soft as I thought It would be.     • Not machine-washable
This is my first review, and I hesitate to write something negative, but I’d hate for this to happen to someone else … The product information states that this comforter is machine-washable; however, in my washing machine, this was not the case. It came out completely shredded, so that the entire machine had to be serviced by a maintenance man who spent the afternoon unclogging the basin and lining of the washing machine. The comforter itself is beyond repair as the fluffiness that covers one side of the comforter was either completely hanging off or totally shredded up. When I tried to explain what happened to the seller, they chose not to answer in way that conveyed they even understood what had transpired. This problem could’ve easily been avoided if the product description stated it needed to be dry cleaned and so I thought I’d share here with anyone considering the comforter that they should do so only if they’re OK bringing it to the dry cleaner instead of washing it at home. Of course I LOVED the comforter so much prior to this fiasco, so it’s definitely still worth getting! It was so soft and felt so luxurious given its original fluffiness and total softness all over — a true dream of a comforter!! ... show more
