This board is my first Electric Longboard and I wanted to go for “the best bang for buck” for someone who is a little bit heavier and in my 30’s who didn’t want a belt driven board. The distance is a bit exaggerated compared to the calculations but I imagine most boards are, kicking to start definitely extends the distance and going slower (~10-15) helps also, I usually ride around 20mph and I feel very comfortable on it knowing I can full stop around ~15 feet. The battery swap is convenient so I don’t have to stop boarding when the battery dies, I usually wear a backpack to swap batteries. The board IS bendy, but I am a heavier rider so it’s all good. No issues going up hills, obviously there is some delay in acceleration while climbing but on Speed 4 setting you zoom right up. The wheels are great no complaints. Overall it is a great board for me, I used to longboard all the time in my teens and the riding feels the same. I can get to work and back no problem and I just toss it on the charger when I get home. I do not ride in the rain (or after) and I haven’t had any problems with the board at all, if you’re on the fence on which one you should get for your first board I say pull the trigger, the changeable batteries was the ultimate selling point for me. ... show more

ORIGINAL REVIEW : When the product arrived it had bubbling grip tape which I was concerned by as I have other boards, I contacted the manufacturer and they said to poke it with a needle. I didn’t even have a chance to before the first HOUR of riding, the wheel ripped off at 20mph and I went flying, like actually achieved human flight, from a longboard yeet’ing me over a dozen feet forward when the wheel snapped off and went under the trucks because it was still connected by wire to the motor. This could have easily killed me had it not been for sky diving training, ended up rolling and avoided the oncoming cars as I went into the street well off the sidewalk. UPDATED REVIEW : After the manufacturer reached out they sent a new board which so far has lasted over a week at this point without any major issues. Unlike with the first board that broke in the first hour (which may have been a fluke, this board seems to be proper. My only critique is that the board replacement they sent didn't have the same wheels originally installed and had wheels that were closer to the ground (98) vs the larger wheels in this product (although they were included in the box), just testing the board out the box, it did scrape the bottom of the board significantly easier and the wheels were rougher however once putting on the wheels that were in the box and were included with the original board, the ride was a lot smoother and further off the ground and has so far lasted and performed as expected for the first week. The initial agent was great, the secondary I worked with was less compassionate and more stern but promptly got the board delivered, ontop of following up with making sure that things were taken care of. Overall hoping the replacement board continues to perform as expected. Planning to leave the old review and bumping to a 3 star review will improve to 4 if this replacement board lasts without any further problems. ... show more

I wrote a review giving Uditerboard a one star rating and over the last week Spike and the folks at Uditerboard have gone above and beyond to contact me and change my experience with their company and the S3 I bought. After posting my original review Spikes team reached out to me apologized for my bad experience and asked what could have been changed to make it better... let that sink in folks, they made the effort to contact me!!! So we talked about the problems I had and it became apparent that there wasn't a problem so much with the boards quality as I was using it in a realm it wasn't really designed for and though that was my first electric skateboard a board designed for building confidence in beginners young and old alike, probably wasn't a great match for me. Sorry for the long winded post but credit should be given where it's due and Spike and his crew deserve it as well as my apologies for the hasty review. I will be reinvesting my money and trust with Spike and the team at Uditerboard and would recommend you guys do as well! Thank you Jon ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a full size/pro size (38 inches) Skateboard with a big electronic component box underneath. So that’s why it is a little heavy. Plus, it was made with fiberglass and composite deck. The width of 9.4 inches is plenty for anyone. The battery on this thing is badass because it gets up to 25 miles per full charge. My other electric skateboard couldn’t get that far. With the 600W dual-motor, it can ramp up to 28 MPH in just a few seconds. It is because of the built-in dual-motor which is rarely see in any electric skateboard. Due to the speedy skateboard, wearing helmet is highly recommended. One fall from this can be deadly. I’ve lost a friend when he was skating without helmet and yes with an electric skateboard. When you step on this skateboard, you will see what I’m talking about. The power is amazing and without safety gear, it can be very deadly when fall. I also suggest not to do tricks with this because it can be broken if the electric components got damaged. Another thing that they didn’t let you know, this is somewhat waterproof. You can run it over the puddle and it will be fine, but it cannot be fully submerged in the water. The overall experience was amazing! I’m ok with paying the price because it’s definitely worth every penny. Words cannot describe the feeling when I step on it. You will have to experience this yourself. I promise you it will be great! ... show more

Fun to ride but after about 20 miles it started making rattling noise even after i tightened all screws. Battery was also very difficult to replace because for some reason the way they made it where the wiring is in the way and i had to use a lot of force to get it to sit tight which is probably not good for the wiring since it can overheat ... show more
