My young grandson misses his older brother who is currently serving. This military outfit was just what he needed to perk him up. Now he thinks he’s helping his brother. The outfit runs a bit small, so I’m glad I got a larger size hoping it will last a long time. The outfit is well constructed with decent fabric. The accessories are plastic, not very authentic, but serve their purpose. I am pleased.

This is a complete suit of clothing for dress up military play or Halloween. The camouflage shirt and pants are super soft for comfort. The vest is thicker for protection against those protection bullets or knives. It comes complete with a cap, gun and rifle, knife, hand Grenades, radio and bullets. Your little will have hours and hours of fun wearing this uniform. It is well made. The equipment is all plastic and lightweight making me unsure of the durability, thus rating it 4 of 5 stars.

It felt like Christmas in July when my boys opened their army set. My eldest has worn the army suit for three days in a row. We have gone through a few army sets like this one but one feature my boys really like about this one in particular is the little bullets that can be stored on the vest. We initially thought that the guns would make noise since there is a spot for batteries, but upon examination it's missing the metal conductors. This was disappointing to my sons but I didn't mind having a little less noise in the house. Overall, it's a great little set that has kept my boys entertained and sparked lots of creative play.

This soldier outfit includes a uniform, tactical vest, rifles, pistols, grenades, saber, bullets, and interphone. My nephew loves playing army so he really likes this! He was so excited when he saw all the things this includes. He loves to "dress up" and play like he's in the military so this was perfect for him. The toys are a little cheesy, but, he has gel guns that work perfectly with the outfit. The toys are why I only gave the outfit 4 stars.

Let me start by saying this costume far exceeded my expectations. The material is pretty soft and doesn’t feel like the cheap and stiff play clothes you usually get for kids. It is stitched well and I don’t have any frayed edges or hanging strings. It comes with a hat that is a bit on the small side. The star of the show however is the included vest. It is thick and durable with many pockets and interchangeable SWAT and American flag patch. The included weapons are fun, but they are pretty cheap plastic, but let’s be real, you’re not buying this for the guns. One thing to be aware of, is even though the guns have battery compartments, they are empty with no contacts, so the guns don’t actually do anything. It also comes with a toy knife in a sheath, three grenades, a handful of foam/plastic combo bullets (for show only) and a play walkie talkie. Now for the sizing. I ordered the 8-10 costume. My son is a very small 9 year old, second shortest in his class to give you an idea and this fits him like it was tailored for him. So while it works perfectly for him, an average sized child his age may not be as comfortable in it. So if you’re getting this for a younger child, I would suggest sizing up for more years of wear. Despite the size and the cheap accessories, the costume is stellar! My son is so thrilled with it, and has already decided this will be his Halloween costume (SCORE!) I highly recommend this set!

My son ( 5 years old) LOVES this set. The uniform is easy to put on and well-made. The tactical vest makes him feel like he is really in the army. He loves all of the rifles, grenade and knife. I love that this is realistic, but not overly realistic. It is perfect for a kid who just wants to play dress up and be an army guy. Excellent bang for your buck. Your child will have fun for days with this.

My oldest great-grandson loves everything soldier right now. I saw this costume kit, very complete, very reasonable price, and knew he would love to wear it while playing during one of his frequent visits. I was right. He is four, and we got a medium. It is a little large on him, but with the pants and sleeves rolled up, no problem. He will be able to wear it for quite a while. The fabric is pretty durable, but light, and we will have to see how well it launders! But it has a shirt, pants, hat, and a tactical vest with room for bullets on it! That vest is his favorite. The guns, grenades, phone, and other toys are a little lightweight, but he loves them. His mom and I were slightly concerned about any noise the guns might make, but the battery compartment, like another reviewer, had no metal contacts, so no problem there. He is very happy with the uniform and literally wants to sleep in it. I am delighted, as are his mom and dad.
