It's made of plastic, so dont expect it to be super sturdy like the metal ones. For the price, I don't think that's a huge issue, just be aware it likes to tip on carpet sometimes. Plenty of space in the 4 shelves, lightweight and easy to assemble.

The plastic shelves/baskets are thin and flimsy. They would be great for lightweight pieces (stuffed animals, diapers, paper towels, kitchen towels etc). Definitely not sturdy enough for canned products, bags of dog food, stacks of books etc. It was very easy to assemble-no tools or muscles needed. I bought 2 of these carts for my tiny kitchen and it fits perfectly in between my fridge and stove . It’s such a space saver especially for my kitchen where I don’t have cabinets or drawers. It was easy to assemble and so far it’s been sturdy .
