I bought these lights for some projects that involve either me being on camera or taking pictures of products. The max height of the lights are probably the size of your hand down to your elbow. They are great length and go into storage into a fairly small foldable stand and the light portion unscrews which have made it easy to travel for work events. If you want a bigger stand, you can always screw the light portion onto a bigger stand. They have a USB connection with no adapter which is great and it can be connected to a battery pack for your phone and then they become portable. I’m impressed with the amount of dimmable light these small lights give off is great especially for the value of it. The lights come with the interchangeable light color filter as well and it’s pretty convenient that they have a small hole on top so you can string all the colors together so you don’t loose it. ... show more

These lights work great! I bought them for my daily video calls at work and the work really well for that and are much cheaper than the other alternatives. However I was also doing some product photography and didn't want to pull out my whole strobe setup so I thought why not just try these lights and as you can see in the photo the results were actually really good. I will definitely be using these not only as my daily lighting setup for my work meetings but also as photography lights when I don't need the power of the big strobes. First and foremost these lights are surprisingly powered by USB… I had no clue about that when I bought these. Infact at first I thought maybe that’s not convenient… boy was I wrong. These things can be powered by my server computer that’s on 24/7… which in fact turned into something completely unexpected. I began to use one of these as my night light! At the lowest brightness it’s still an ample amount for it to shine up my room perfectly for sleeping. For studio purposes it’s great too! Great brightness and the colored filters are amazing as well. You get two of these lights which is a great value in my opinion. The LED video light kit is pretty awesome, they are smaller than expected but the lighting is great, it's perfect for my photos, for brightening a room and also works as a regular light. It has a tripod and you can easily place it on a table and take photos of yourself or to take clear and bright photos of items. They are dimable and there's a control on the cord to turn it off, on and to change the brightness of the light. Comes with different interchangeable color cards for different hues on photography. I absolutely love my little new assistants in photographing small objects! Lamps can be placed directly on the table, and this saves a lot of space for shooting. The design is light, but everything works great. I really like the white diffusers of light on the lamps! The swivel head on a metal hinge ensures ease of use. By the way, they will be great for recording videos for a blog - if they are placed diagonally to the face, they will give a soft light, better than one round lamp! ... show more
