    • This heavy duty beast puts my little Bower tripod to shame!

For the past couple of years, I was in love with the Bower tripod. Not only due to the ball and joint feature, that allows the cradle to fully swivel 360*, including forward, backwards. But also due to a special little piece it provided, that I attach to the side of the phone cradle to use as a handle. However, the cradle on the Bower tripod is so flimsily made, that, after so many uses, the tension always caused it to break. After it broke for a 2nd time, I decided to try something else, and I found UBeesize. Right away I could tell a huge difference in size and quality when I took my UBeesize tripod out of the box. I immediately transferred the "handle" from my Bower tripod, to UBeesize. The cradle on UBeesize is SO strong and sturdy, that over the past few weeks, it has been handling the tension like a champ. However, as amazed as I am with the size, it's huge "feet" is a bit of a chore to maneuver in small spaces, particularly around a small table, or near the side of the bed. This makes the lack of a 360* swivel cradle, a very noticable letdown. It only tilts forward and backwards. It doesn't turn left or right. So, if I needed to turn the cradle, even just the tiniest little bit, I have to pick up this beast to do so. ... show more

    • Great for light-duty use
The last time I bought one of these phone tripods, phones were smaller. My existing one was getting harder and harder to use with these bigger phones, and impossible to use with some of them. I saw this one advertised at a great deal and decided to pick it up. I like this design that only has the height locks on the single center section rather than having height locks on each of the legs. My other tripod had 12 locks to contend with (4 for each leg), while this one only has 3 locks for the center portion. Lots of versatility and adjustability with this one, and it works very well with my iPhone SE in a slim case. In fact, even with my phone and case mounted landscape, there is room for a phone that is up to 2" wider! I think this one should last me for a long time. I cannot attest to anything with the included remote, as I do not plan to use it. I'll likely use my Apple Watch instead. Although, it is a little weird that the remote has separate buttons for iOS and Android. ... show more

    • Great Little Tripod: Selfie Stick, Not so Much
For what it is and the price I paid, it is a very good tripod. As a tripod for a cell phone or an action camera, it is small, sturdy, light weight and easily portable. I bought three because of the special offer price of under $10. I didn't intend for these to be selfie sticks so its shortcomings in that respect don't really bother me. To use as a selfie stick you either have to grip the three legs which makes an uncomfortable large tri-lobed handle, or open the legs a little to allow my hand to grip the center column. That is a less uncomfortable grip but awkward in other ways. Due to its light weight, I would be hesitant to mount a DSLR on it except on very level ground and sheltered from any wind. Like many things, you have to decide what compromises are acceptable. This tripod could be steadier, but at the cost of weight and price. It could be a better selfie stick but with the probable cost of steadiness as a tripod, and cost. For what I paid for the product I received, I am very pleased. ... show more

    • Extremely compact, sturdy base and exceptionally well engineered
One of the first things that you will notice is how compact the overall design is. While the stand is full retracted, it is no longer than half an arm’s length. While it is fully elongated, the stand folds out and the legs plant firmly on the ground, allowing for a firm stance even when it is windy. The actual pole itself has 3 major points where it can be fully adjusted and have full functionality and room for motion. In other words, the stand can hold any height you want it to and goes nearly as tall as the ceiling. A definitely must buy if you plan on taking stationary shots, it comes included with a remote controller to allow for hands-free photography. ... show more

Does what it's supposed to and is surprisingly well made for how cheap it was. Legs and main 'body' are metal, plastic bits don't feel flimsy. It fits a Pixel 6 (just be careful you don't clamp it on the power/volume buttons), remote works (works with the iOS button even tho I'm on android, but whatever). Only complaint I have is, wish it had some way to attach/store the remote. I got it zip tied to the thing so it won't get lost but that's far from ideal. ... show more

    • Surprisingly high quality
I honestly wasn't expecting much other than it would hold my phone up in the air, but it's very well-built. The only part that feels a bit flimsy is the riveting that holds the legs together, but, while sloppy, works. The plastic bits that clamp to allow the tripod to telescope and the legs to extend are about what I'd expect from a more expensive tripod. Now imagine my surprise upon receipt to discover this is a 2-pack! I've not used the Go-Pro mount, nor the remote control, so no judgment on how either works. ... show more

I love the remote control. It works great. The only downside is the lack of up and down movement. You can adjust that manually by how you set the phone.
