I've had it a couple of days and used it a lot already for self-tape auditions. The remote control seems to only work if I'm using it in front of the screen - which isn't much use unless you're filming/photographing in selfie-mode - I also have no way of telling if the remote has worked to start recording because I can't see the screen when I'm in front of the camera to film! So, all in all, a bit pointless as a device. The quality of the product is a bit cheap & I don't think it'll survive being knocked over on a hard surface, but the light itself is quite bright, and does the job well. This light works great, it’s perfect for my zoom meetings and just taking videos in general. I appreciate that it has multiple ways to adjust it, from the height to how you want it to hold the phone. Also the box it came in was honestly super cute so I kept it 😂

This light is perfect for my needs. I bought it to be used with my Self hair cut system (mirrors) Im 6ft, the top of the ring light measures at 6'3" when fully extended. The phone holder is great, my Galaxy s22+ fits snug. The provided bluetooth remote easily paired up with my Android phone. I just rotate my head and click the remote to snap shots of my sides and back of head to take another look at the finished product. I just wish they made the power cord a bit longer. ... show more

I highly recommend this. I had a video project for my office. It was easy to set up and use right away. The extra light that was provided really helped. Also, the remote was a definate plus as well!

    • Works great. Previous light rings were almost useless.
I put my webcam on this for work zooms and it's great. It balances the window light coming into my room. Other rings and light bulbs and the big box lights never worked as good as this.

For $17 I’ve been extremely impressed with this light. It’s extremely bright with adjustable brightness and color temp. The mounting system on the light could use some reinforcement as it’s a little flimsy, but so long as you loosen things up it shouldn’t be an issue.
