Only real complaint is that it can be difficult to open the bin completely (i.e., not sliding the circular door open but actually lifting the whole lid). Otherwise, the sliding door is easy to open, the bin contains bad odors well, and the color is pretty. It is somewhat small, but it’s the size described so that’s on me for not ordering a larger size! The metal is sleek looking and it is not super heavy to transport. This thing is fantastic at trapping the smell in. We had a diaper genie before and you could smell it after a few days. This traps in the oder, but when you open it to place a new diaper it you do get hit pretty hard with the smell. But we only have to change it once a week. We love that you don't have to purchase a specific bag. Holds a lot of diapers, holds in the smell and has a lock to keep our toddler out! ... show more

Bought this for my new born baby diaper trash can in my bedroom since I'm very lazy and didn't want to walk all the way to the living room trash can in the middle of the night for a diaper change. No smell at all! You just slide the top, very easy to open with one hand while carrying the baby. No special trash bag needed and that's a huge plus! I would say it holds a week full of diapers. I think this is better than the diaper genie. It’s steel so doesn’t hold the smell like the plastic ones do. Very easy to use and can use any bags you want.
