My MV7 uses the unfortunate micro USB, and is constantly moving, so I needed something to keep the FEAR out of each movement. I've gone through way too many weak-willed micros to trust the in-box micro to stay alive, or even not damage my lovely microphone. This was an easy purchase. It's surprisingly more sturdy, and better made than I expected. I also expected it to be an eyesore with that additional lump in my cable management, but it looks good. I actually feel relief with this one installed. The microphone works well, no disconnect with jiggling, and maneuvers like mad. I don't think there's much else to say about an up angle adapter, but if you have a big ol collection of angled adapters like I do ADD THIS ONE TO THE PILE. PS: I tried this with my other weird accessories that still take micro. Funkey S, converted it to USB C and back for my phone, etc etc. Everything charged fine, I even saw quick charge work. I don't know that I'd go for this one for those, but it seemed excellent and did the job. ... show more

This cable didn't work with my Ethernet dongle, so I cut it open and found only 4 wires instead of the expected 5. The ID pins of the 5-pin connectors are left floating. I'm rather surprised because this is the only micro-B to micro-B cable I've encountered without the yellow ID cable. This cable can't be used in some OTG applications. ... show more

Needed this adapter to power a digital camera while it was in use.. used right angle so the cable did not interfere with the operation of the camera.

The description says, "Left Right Down Up," suggesting it can be used in any position, but it's just an up angle only. I need it to go the other way, so will try to send it back.
