Words that come to mind are: High End Luxury Quality Impressive Incredible value for the price paid. I do not follow bedding trends. I do not shop for the cheapest linens I can find; I buy quality inserts and duvet covers in classic designs that will last and this goose down comforter surpassed all of my qualifications. Our climate consists of hot summers and moderate winters and I would rate this insert as "medium"...in the Goldilocks zone...not too hot but not too lightweight either. Frankly, I was a little leery of the down/fiber combo but it seems to be working very nicely. There is little to no shifting inside the duvet cover due to the loops and tabs system that holds it in position. This is a very desirable feature in my opinion. The same goes for the stitching that prevents shifting of the down. There is no need to fluff it up every time the bed is made but you will need to loosen it up when it arrives. A quick run through the clothes dryer on the fluff setting will take care of that. Everything inside the 100% cotton cover stays where it is supposed to. And the cover is soft and quiet. There is no rattling and rustling during the night. The Ubauba brand now has a new fan...me! Recommended

I have always had down comforters. For years decades and going through so many different brands and so many different qualities of blankets. I started out with having the best and throughout the years trying to find that same one. It's been difficult. This blanket is what I've been looking for. I am very happy with it. It's summertime now and it doesn't keep me hot but it keeps me comfortable. It will keep me warm in the winter. So happy with it!

I ordered this down blanket to replace my old one, which had started shedding feathers after about a year. I chose the California king size, and it fits my bed well wide enough to cover the edges so my husband and I don’t accidentally hog it and leave the other person in the cold. The blanket arrived tightly packed and took a little time to fluff up after being removed from the packaging. It features box-style quilting, with each individual chamber filled with feathers. This design helps keep the feathers evenly distributed, preventing them from shifting to one side. The stitching looks well done, with no loose threads or fabric issues. I added a duvet cover, so the pictures I took aren’t true to the blanket’s original color, but I was able to tie the cover on easily. After three nights of use, it’s stayed securely in place without coming unattached. The blanket is thick and fluffy, but not as heavy as a cold weather down comforter. It strikes a nice balance cozy without being too warm, which keeps me comfortable in our air conditioned house.
