Words that come to mind are: High End Luxury Quality Impressive Incredible value for the price paid. I do not follow bedding trends. I do not shop for the cheapest linens I can find; I buy quality inserts and duvet covers in classic designs that will last and this goose down comforter surpassed all of my qualifications. Our climate consists of hot summers and moderate winters and I would rate this insert as "medium"...in the Goldilocks zone...not too hot but not too lightweight either. Frankly, I was a little leery of the down/fiber combo but it seems to be working very nicely. There is little to no shifting inside the duvet cover due to the loops and tabs system that holds it in position. This is a very desirable feature in my opinion. The same goes for the stitching that prevents shifting of the down. There is no need to fluff it up every time the bed is made but you will need to loosen it up when it arrives. A quick run through the clothes dryer on the fluff setting will take care of that. Everything inside the 100% cotton cover stays where it is supposed to. And the cover is soft and quiet. There is no rattling and rustling during the night. The Ubauba brand now has a new fan...me! Recommended ... show more
