Advertised as being constructed using "top grain leather." There's no visible leather at all. Case also fit more loosely than any other case I've had on other phones. The rubber strip on the lower front portion of the case didn't even rest on the phone's front surface; it bowed upward away from the phone, and it caught on the edge of my pockets and other surfaces upon which I placed the phone. Finally, though the case has a rubber edge with a textured surface, it's still very slippery - little to no "grippiness." From the manufacturer's description and from reviews, I was actually looking forward to owning this case. The unfortunate reality is, however, that this case is grossly overpriced for what it brings to the table. I'm now using a Spigen Tough Armor case which is far superior at 25% of the cost of the UAG case. I have cargo pockets on my 511 pants and shorts. The UAR gear fits in my cargo pockets. I have two children my son is gentle with his electronic equipment. My daughter seems to abuse same. I have always purchased UAG products for my phones, so I made sure to pick one up before my s10+ came. This case looks so slick with the camo and overall design. The case fits perfectly, providing solid protection without the added bulk. It also provides a lip around the screen, so you can lay it down flat without worrying of damaging it. Well this should not be called military grade. First the edges don’t cover the actual metal edges of the phone it’s very loose and I exchanged it to see if I just got a defective one and that was the same as the first. I had a tempered glass screen protector on and it dropped off my bed not that far and shattered my phone glass. Had the edges been thicker/tougher and raised (taller) to protect the screen enough my phone screen would not have cracked at 60 dollars this was like throwing 350 dollars in the garbage (290 for the phone repair, 60 for the crappy case.) I have a note 10 plus as well and I bought a 8 dollar case that has protected my phone excellently. The edges on the 8 dollar case cover the edges and curve of the screen. The same fall that cracked my s10 plus in the uag case, didn’t even ding the 8 dollar case let alone crack my phone or screen protector. How is this considered military grade protection, the note 9 version of this case was better at least. It's a gorgeous case but does nothing to protect the phone. I've never broken a phone screen before ever. Hey uag while I know you are too greedy, and won't reimburse me for the screen repair. I should at least be reimbursed for the 60 case that did nothing for my phone. UAG your military grade claims are pure lies and false advertisements. UAG should be sued for the false advertisement of this case. UAG are you going to back up your case or continue to profit off your lies... AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! ... show more

I've used a UAG case for the past 3 years with my Samsung Galaxy S7 and it was awesome. I purchased it for the claim that it was military grade [patent pending] if I remember correctly. Never had a problem with it, and I actually believed for the times I had dropped my phone that it was because of the case that my phone screen was saved. The back of the phone had shattered though. I'm sure the bumpers did well for the phone. It was time for an upgrade so I purchased the S10+ and immediately ordered the UAG case. I was stoked when it arrived, put the case on and saw that the edges of my phone are raised above the case. If I were to drop my phone and it landed on its side, I'm sure the bumpers would do well upon impact but I'd be screwed when it crushes the sides of the face as well as the face itself. If UAG were to develop a case that takes the [+] into consideration I'd gladly buy it. Like I said, I'm pretty sure the bumpers were the efficient component to the product. Just need to account for the sides of the face for the S10+. ... show more

Very Good worth the money ..Yes and No if it save a $1000 phone yes. It seems to roll up some case friendly screen protectors. Or more likely the screen protectors are faulty.
