  • Your Perfect Audio Companion
Style: 4 Pre/4 Line with 76 Compressor Pattern Name: Audio Interface
TL;DR: This audio interface is your trusty companion for music production, live streaming, and podcasting. It delivers superb sound quality, and its durability is unmatched. Review: Let's talk about this audio interface – it's been a game-changer for my music production, livestreaming, and podcasting endeavors. Whatever your audio project, this interface has your back. What sets it apart is the Vintage Mic Preamp mode. It's like a secret sauce that gives your vocals and instruments that warm, professional touch. You'll fall in love with the character it brings to your recordings. And that analog compressor? It's like having a studio-grade tool right at your fingertips. You can fine-tune dynamics and make your audio shine with clarity and punch. But it's not just about performance; this interface is built to last. It feels solid, like it's designed to be your recording partner for years to come. Now, let's address the elephant in the room – the price. Yes, it's a bit steeper than some competitors. But believe me, the quality and reliability you get are worth every penny. If you're serious about your audio work, it's an investment you won't regret. In a nutshell, this audio interface is a fantastic all-rounder. It brings versatility, top-notch sound quality, and rugged build to your recording setup. Pros: Versatile, perfect for music production, livestreaming, and podcasting. Vintage Mic Preamp mode for that pro touch. Analog compressor to enhance your audio. Built to withstand the test of time. Cons: It comes with a higher price tag, but the quality justifies the cost. And yes, it's a significant upgrade from my trusty Focusrite 2i2, especially for recording vocals and guitars. ... show more

  • Great!! Been using it for 6 months :)
Style: 1-in/2-out Pattern Name: Audio Interface
Been using this interface for 6 months now: Great quality, reliable, sleek, and simple. Low noise, fine latency, amazing vintage pre-amp, and gets the job done right for a single-person band who records everything on their own, one track at a time. Also the plugins that this comes with are amazing and definitely a steal! The only thing that is the slightest bit annoying is the lack of an input mix knob, but most interfaces at this size only have a direct monitoring button, so I make it work fine. Honestly don’t see myself using anything else, and if I need more inputs in the future, I’ll be reaching back here! ps: it’s so much sexier looking in personnn ... show more

  • Replaced my Focusrite Scarlett Solo with this
Style: 1-in/2-out Pattern Name: Audio Interface
My Scarlett Solo had annoying issues with the driver and also the volume knob made cackling noises whenever I adjusted it. I returned it and purchased the volt 1 and it's working flawlessly. Install the driver and you are good to go. I use this for only outputs for my studio monitors.

  • Great component in my home studio!
Style: 2-in/2-out Pattern Name: Audio Interface
I use this interface in my home studio to support music and podcast production. Works like a champ, and is basically plug and play with my iMac mini LOGIC DAW software for electric guitar recording and playback.

This is great for recording at home studio. It’s easy to connect and it records vocals amazingly. It’s very lightweight and was easy to install on my computer. The quality is as good as a professional studio.

  • Unfortunate design flaw... and the this company truly does not care
Style: 2-in/2-out Pattern Name: Audio Interface
I bought this to replace a similar item that I've used for almost 20 years. I was shocked to learn there is NO MIX BALANCE knob to control mix between input and headphone monitor. Yes, that means the input can be devastatingly loud while the playback is very soft. It's quite difficult (impossible) to track using this device for that reason. Yes, i know it's possible to control the mix from within Logic, but then you're adding latency and there's a delay in your recording. Boo. There is no good reason for this very basic feature omission. The worst part is when I reached UA regarding possible workarounds for this issue, they literally said "if you don't like it, then you shouldn't have bought it." And that was the extent of their response. They were absolutely not interested in discussing solutions to the issue, which is crazy because I bought an adaptor and it kind of fixed the problem for me. They guy didn't even offer that as a solution. Finally, wow they advertise all sorts of FREE software and FREE samples and virtual instruments with purchase of this item... but NONE of them are free. They want you to download software interface just so you can download instruments. Oh and you have to create accounts for a half dozen different entities beforey ou can access these "free" instruments. I never did figure out how to get any of these 'free' instruments. I emailed UA and asked them to just send me a direct download link to the instruments because I don't want to give my personal info by signing up for these MANY garbage marketing emails from outside entities. He said no he won't do that (even though he could). This is false advertising because nowhere on this Amazon listing or packaging does it say I have to jump through MANY hoops before I get the free instruments. I did jump through a few hoops, but after jumping through several I eventually decided this company is only after your personal data. They're selling it to outside entities. It's a gimmick and UA truly does not care about music-makers. It's just spam and marketing 100%. AVOID UA. CHOOSE A BETTER COMPANY. ... show more
