As described the fabric is soft, the garment is lightweight, but substantial, making it comfortable to wear for every temperature. I disagree that it is see through. I like the fact that it is machine wash. I like the belt feature and the pockets. As other reviewers have noted, I don't like the closure so much. It closes enough to wear alone but opens easily and requires attention. I have not washed yet so I cannot comment on how it washes (shrinks or stains wash off vs stay on). This took 43 days to receive. Kept getting changes in delivery date. Robe is nice and soft. Not light weight but nice for summer months. I would have given a 5 star but delivery time from Amazon never took this long.

The robe is lightweight - which is great for summers down by the Gulf of Mexico - and the fabric is soft. The fit is good about the shoulders; it's just a tad snug around the waist for those of us who wear a size 6.

I don't think it's heavy enough for our upstate NY winters when I want something that's more substantial, but for spring and summer I think this robe will be ideal.
