Both pieces of the Rio luggage set meet the FAA carry-on regulations. You can easily slide the boarding bag over the handle of the 21" expandable, wheeled upright, making travel a snap. This US Traveler luggage set's metal hardware holds up to the rigors of the shipping process. Densely woven, 1200D polyester is very strong and keeps water from seeping in through the outside. The handle locks in place securely so you don't have to fiddle with it while you walk. A set of skate wheels make the luggage easier to transport without having to pick it up.

Needed an inexpensive set for a quick fam trip. Worked fine, just the right size for carry-on also. My only small complaint I struggled a bit with getting the smaller bag to stay on, it kept slipping down and tipping over, wouldn't stand up right with both pieces. I had a couple day trip I was going to be taking and was looking for a basic bag that would be good for a 1 to 3 night stay. This bag combo worked out perfectly. The main bag was just the right size for the clothes I needed to bring and the companion bag was just the right size to carry all my toiletries in. The only thing I didn't like is that the suitcase has only two rear wheels. The piece will tip over if not careful. Otherwise suits my needs for light travel only. But can withstand airport treatment as well.

Used for carryon on international United trip. Held up great and will probably still be useful on several more trips. Packed to full capacity I was still able to easily lift it into the overhead bin. Easy to roll around. Lightweight. I saw others getting picked out to check their carryon at the gate, I was allowed to take this one inside the cabin. Only negative, it does fall over due to only 2 wheels. But I always positioned it so it would lean against my legs and never had it fall over again. Happy with it. ... show more
