These Cradled Wood Panels were not used as intended for spin art or classical art. Instead, this lightweight and strong bichwood was made into an industrial art form: bookshelves for my paperbacks. At first, I thought these were a little pricey, but after examining the quality of the construction, I see they have been reasonably priced and of very good quality!

These boards seem to be fine, sturdy construction and all that. The complaint I have is very minor, it's just that on one board the surface layer is slightly longer than what's underneath it so that it sticks out slightly on one end of the board as you may be able to discern from this photo. I don't see how this would impact your art in any way, the length is just very slightly longer than the 24 inches. We're talking 1/16 of an inch or something, so this is barely a complaint on my part and is probably just a random fluke in production. I bought these at a slightly lower price than usual and I just want to point out that for a couple bucks more you can get the same boards only with the 1 5/8" side depth instead of these which are only 3/4. Update from original review: these were purchased again and there was a flaw with one of the boards, it was slightly indented on the center right side. Overnight this caused the paint to run off the board in that location ruining the painting. Also the board had obviously suffered a few dents in the surface that had been filled up with a filler of some variety.
