U-pick Pickleball Paddles Set of 2, Lightweight Fiberglass Pickleball Paddle. I am totally new to the world of Pickleball. I ordered this set for myself and my daughter. The set contains to paddles, 4 balls and a carrying case. The paddles feel well made and are comfortable to hold. The balls remind me of whiffle balls. I don't know that this is going to be a game that I want to play often, I do not like the sound of the ball thudding against the paddle. I definitely prefer the feel of a tennis ball bouncing off a tennis racket. I think this makes a great set for anyone who wants to try out pickleball, but doesn't want to invest a lot of money right off the bat. ... show more

Some local community tennis courts were recently converted to pickleball courts. This basic set's perfect for beginners, like me, to give pickleball a try! I've examined many value sets in the past year, having acquired several to offer pickleball-based games to my 5th grade students during P.E. and recess. This set's as good as any of them. The racquets are sturdy and feel good in the hand. They have "pickleball" printed on both sides, to prevent confusion about what they're for. The four included balls and bag round out this superbly-priced set. As a lifetime tennis player, I'm astounded how you can get started in pickleball at such low cost. Please see my photograph which shows the case and contents. The zippered case has a nice feature, an attached strap can be used as a carry handle, or lengthened to use as a shoulder strap. I haven’t seen that feature on other bags. The bag itself is a lighter weight than others I’ve seen and includes a zipper that opens one end of the bag, not half of the bag as others I’ve seen. The paddles are lightweight, have a good hitting surface and seem sturdy. The handle is wide but not as long as some paddles. I think this would be fine for almost everyone, but someone with very large hands may want a longer handle on their paddle. I hope this picture and review are helpful to you. ... show more

This pickleball paddles are really great. They are lightweight but feel solid when in use and seem to perform well during play. The handle wrap is a nice cushioned material that has decent grip without feeling overly sticky. The carrying case is a nice addition which makes transporting them around easy. The case material is a little on the thin side but still feels well made. The included balls are also of good quality and work great. The pickleball case and paddles are well made. The grips seem to be well taped. I have played with more expensive sets that did not seem any better. If you are just getting into playing and are not sure if you will like it or not, it’s a great set to start out with.
