Lots of features and you also have the ability to fine tune all the functions. Sadly, the manual does not cover that but I did find a video on YouTube that provided the secret. Hold the Enter button down while on the Address mode and it will flash back and forth then give you options to adjust pan, tilt, color, gobo and even focus. This would be in case you have multiple units and want them all to be aligned the same. This is in addition to the DMX adjusting. Maybe that split color lense is off center or one light points higher than another when controlling them both. This magic trick will fix that. I bought 4 and have not had any issues with them since I purchased them. So far, so good. The other thing I like about these, they have a nice spread. Most of the movers in this wattage and price range are Beams and don't spread out. I don't know the exact degrees, but that's what has prevented me from trying the others. The only thing that would make these better is IF they offered it with a Zoom so you COULD convert from a spread (spot, whatever you call it) to a beam. Happy lighting. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I found many useful features in this mini moving light. It is very lightweight, at just over 7 lbs. It is a quiet fixture. It is a small fixture, as photo #5 compares the size of the main lamp housing to my hand. Testing was done in the 13 channel mode, using a DJ style DMX controller. The colors were good, and the fade up/down was surprisingly smooth. I found the gobos to be very small. However, if the prism function is enabled, specifically the prism rotation option, the experience is much improved. I would have liked to see rotating gobos included in the design. At 85 watts the fixture would be good on a small stage or at a party. I would not use it on a large stage or around bright stage lights, as it will be washed out. Being lightweight, it could easily be placed on top of a loudspeaker, or would be equally nice on any truss. I would rate this light at 4 stars, as there is room for improvement in a redesign. ... show more

This is a good value for a moving fixture at the sale price. You get a 85 w bright 3-facet prism with moving head and 7 gobos. I would be very happy with a pair of these had I not used the next model up for $30 more! The 100w model has 18 facet prism and 7 gobos, has an on/off switch, runs a bit quieter and is dimmable. U King makes good inexpensive moving fixtures. Be sure to compare their moving fixtures to get the one that fits your intended use. It is a nice effect to slave two or more and set them to move together in a pattern! Use a dmx controller and you can really increase control and color selections. Best to stick with the same model if buying multiple units to use together. ... show more

This is a nice, well built moving spotlight. It is fully DMX controllable. It feels well built, and the mounting hardware is heavy duty, which is what you would expect in a light like this, but one of the areas where some manufacturers skimp out. This bracket I would actually trust with the light! While it does have automatic modes, and sound activated modes, to get the most out of a spot like this, I believe you need to use DMX to control it. But even if you go with one of the auto modes, it’s going to put on a fun light show for you. It has multiple gobo effects, and has an available prism mode to triple the effect. As with any type of stage lighting, adding fog/smoke makes the light so much more impressive. If you get a light like this for personal use, pick up a smoke/fog machine… you will be amazed at how much it enhances the effect. Overall, I think this is a good value for a well-built, DMX controllable, moving head spotlight. Like many lights, they work well in pairs, so I would pick up two at this price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was over the moon after trying out this Rotating LED Spot. It's nothing short of incredible. I purchased a DMX control board, and am just starting to learn how to set up scenes and chases. The variety this fixture provides is absolutely incredible...all done through various control channels (this lamp uses 13). It's well worth the time learning how to program using DMX! I've included a short video that gives you a basic idea of what this electronic wonder can do. I focused the video on showing you the colors and GOBO patterns, but it doesn't demonstrate the horizontal and vertical movement that this will execute smoothly and quickly. The lamp also includes a hanger so it can be attached to a ceiling or rafter. Power cord is included, and there are four control buttons on the unit itself, but you'll need a DMX cable and hardware or software controller to fully benefit from its capabilities. Be sure and wear your shades when you set up this fixture! It is so bright! Great gobos, superb throw, lots of movement. And that's just sound activated! With master/slave mode, you can link multiples for symmetrical movement, or pair this with other fixtures. DMX assignable features as well.
