Probably the best alternative I’ve tried since the EasyTouch quit shipping. I did get one box that seemed like they may have been a bit dull but it wasn’t bad enough to make me throw them out. They do have a back stop to keep the plunger from pulling loose, which does eventually come out with some firm wiggling, but won’t pull loose by accident. The one bad thing I’ve noticed is that there is a bit of plastic molded over where the needle connects to the barrel that seems to slightly work loose if you are using it a lot. Not a problem for single use though. The older bad reviews did give me pause at first, but I haven’t had any significant problems with these. ... show more

Shouldve went with my gut on this one. After reading one or two negative reviews i thought eh, how bad can they be? Im telling you in all my years of unfortunately having to use these annoying things, ive never, ever seen something so horribly made. I mean it seems like they were sharpened on a concrete sidewalk, by a raccoon! If i didnt know any better id say the raccoon found them in a dumpster already used, then sharpened em on the sidewalk! Im not one to leave negative reviews but come on ppl! These things wouldnt pop a balloon if launched out of a cannon from a foot away! They would bounce off! And, no you know what, nuff said. These are better than previous brands I've tried, quality sharpness and great value. Main reason for knocking off a star is that one of the first ones I pulled out of the package was defective, plunger tip was twisted and completely missing the silicone cap. QA booboo. Otherwise good so far.

Though they require a lot of force to remove plunger completely they are extra smooth when pushing plunger in and point is sharp enough for all uses.
