Use in the wood shop for inserting epoxy resin into cleaned out loose knots, filling epoxy resin into carvings and for filling in those pesky air pockets that keep showing up as ones sands. Works well to get epoxy deep into crevices, filling from the bottom up.

    • Fill the syringe before adding needle and they work great with wood glue

Maybe this is obvious to the rest of the world, but when I filled syringes up to give my animals shots, I put the needle on, then filled the syringe. With wood glue and a tiny needle, it's a different situation. What worked was to get a small container - I used the cap to an empty medication bottle. Open the wood glue bottle and pour some into the container. Don't use the thicker, gummier glue that collects around the mouth of the glue bottle - use the nicer, waterier glue from inside. Suck up some glue into the syringe before adding the needle. Then, add the needle and it works great. I was able to easily clean out the syringe for another time with hot water right after using it. The needle was a one-shot deal. The glue just dried too quickly in it and it wasn't worth the effort. I was gluing some thin veneer down that had cracked and was loose in one spot on a mid-century blonde sewing machine cabinet. The perfect size needle for this application was the purple one. I think there was only one purple one in the box, but another smaller sized one would work, too. The purple one was big enough to get a good amount of glue under the veneer, but not so big that it would cause more damage. A smaller one would do the trick, but you'd have to work a little harder to get a good amount of glue underneath the veneer. The syringes don't suck consistently like a veterinary or medical syringe, but they're plenty good enough for gluing. You just need to get some glue inside it. Screw on tips make it is easy to change them. Eliminating having to use more than one syringe at a time if you want to use more than one tip size or pick the wrong size. Plenty of tip sizes. I can add small amounts of glue with only one hand and in a precise spot. I am using the large syringes for cleaning the tip(s)...just adding water. ... show more

I wish to goodness I'd found a kit like the BSTEAN feeding syringes with needle and caps a few years ago. I've spent a small fortune trying out different syringes, needles and feeding/dispensing/suctioning/storing apparatus for taking care of cats and kittens, and this simple, inexpensive kit covers almost every need I've had. Nothing fancy (you'll still need a good, soft nipple for feeding newborns) but totally practical. The only change I'd make is to add a longer needle (for drawing liquid into syringe, esp. flea meds bought in bulk) and a couple of larger syringes at least 15mL, which is a quantity I often use for hydrating an average sized cat in increments over a few hours. This kit is a gold mine, especially if you're new to caring for critters and don't quite know what you'll need yet; you'll quickly figure it out! As with almost all syringes, I'm sure they will be useful a lot longer if you spray some clear polyurethane on the outside to keep the marked increments from fading with frequent washing in warm soapy water. The kit is well packaged in plastic inside a box just the right size to hold all the pieces - and for the first time EVER - whoever put the kit together made it affordable for anyone! I am so sick of the greed of manufacturers of pet products that I take great pleasure in finding good deals and touting them all over creation for folks who stay broke trying to care for stray and injured critters. And by the way, it's not a bad kit for crafters, either, for dispensing paint or glue or any number of materials. I highly recommend it for the locking tips, caps for temporary storage, needle for suctioning and especially the price. Well done! ... show more

Used these to try to keep some baby mice alive til released.They worked as there are a few different sizes to pick from.Id recommend these if needed for short period of time.Make sure to sterilize after each use!

I've only used these for about 30 seconds and noticed that the scale/numbers were rubbing off. So these won't be good if you need exact amounts. This is not a huge issue for me since I'm just using these for applying glue to hard to reach areas in miniatures/models. For that use, these are great! The syringes seem to have smooth action, decent suction, and I haven't had any other issues. ... show more
