I waited too long trying to work with this piece of hardware and my return period expired. Else I would have returned it. At first glance I was excited to use it, as it looked and felt like a hefty piece of hardware. but after a month of fiddling with one of the bits and unable to get it to operate a
s advertised, I turned to the other bits and was surprised at what complete garbage I had purchased. I'm attaching photos that show some chisels with so many burrs I would have to send them out to be sharpened before use, one wasn't even straight and was leaning more than a Fat Joe song. The third literally had a hole in it. Of all the metal pieces, the base of the fence was just plastic. And this doesn't begin the list of things I was willing to put up with, like the bolts to hold the hold-downs in place would hit the wing nuts holding the fence to the table, making it impossible to tighten both unless perfectly aligned. poles didn't have a flat spot for tensioning with the bolt, so you were tightening it against a cylindrical surface, hence it had no power to hold without slipping. The list goes on. I put a lot of faith in reviews of items when purchasing, and I write very few bad ones but listen to me now, not worth the money. I regret not looking closer sooner so I could return it.

It took some time to figure how to use it. It worked ok. Maybe I'll get better with it.

We'll built, too heavy for the cheap made case though inside the case was damaged due to the heavy parts not being secured and allowed to move. But I gave 5 stars because i am using the drill press attachment not the case. And it meets expectations.

Best Low Cost Mortise System Possible
After reviewing many potential purchases for a simple Mortise pocket cut in Walnut, I tried this system purely due to the low cost and working on a drill press. Amazing value for the money compared to other systems. Easy to install and take off, extremely easy to use and the quality of the cuts depen
d upon your ability to be patient and to dress the tool edges before and after use. There are some burr's that needed to be removed from the chisel points, and the drill bit did not have the sharpest cutting edges, so little effort with a hook sharpening stone took care of it. Great tool for the money.

poor instructions, missing part and...
Missing a thumb screw (four included, 5 needed) critical to operation and included an Allen wrench but there were no Allen screws to use it on. The main thing was instructions or lack thereof. Instruction sheet showed two small, poor quality pictures and a parts list. I managed to figure out how to a
ssemble it but instructions left a lot to be desired. I had to remove the depth stop on my drill press to install the device. I broke the stop mount doing so. That was my fault not the product's but it made me angry just the same. Oh, and the fence is made of cheep plastic. I asked if this device was plastic and was told it is not. So much for truth speakers. I sent it back next day.

wing bolt threads not working
the wing bolt does not thread into device , like wrong thread or damaged thread , need one wing nut shipped to me so i can put this together

Only needed top stabilizer which works, fits perfectly. Lower block is plastic, possible liability but not needed to operate. Takes place of costly mortiser and uses existing drill press. Seems like a deal. AFF
