This is a great swim bag! I love the pockets for your water bottle and a small zip pocket in the front is perfect for goggles. It really helps my kids stay organized during their swim season. The straps can be adjusted so this bag fits my 4 year old and 8 year old. The mesh material is great for wet towels, it helps them dry faster and you don't have to worry about it molding. I was using a laundry bag for my swim gear. This bag is much more efficient. Holds all my pool swim gear and towel. Front pocket is good for goggles, locker lock, ear plugs, etc. Has backpack straps and a loop handle. With appropriate care it should last a while.

Great swim bag! I worried this would be junk because of the price, but it was perfect for my little swimmer. I always used a fully enclosed (non-mesh) bag growing up, so I was a little resistant to my son when he said he wanted this bag. But honestly, this bag is so great. There’s so much more air flow with the mesh, his stuff doesn’t stay wet and get stinky. Nearly every kid on his team uses this bag and the fun colors are perfect for keeping everyone’s bags straight. The bag straps are adjustable so an adult or a child could use it. There’s a place to write your name on it. The front goggles pocket is perfect. The bag is just the right size. My son can easily fit a pair of fins, a snorkel, paddles, goggles, a swim cap, a towel, and a water bottle with room to spare. For reference, my son is a tall 8 year old and this is how the bag fits on him. The only downside to this bag is that it’s not great for putting clothes that are meant to stay dry in. If you lay it down on the pool deck the clothes inside the bag get wet because of the mesh. Also, any underwear in the bag will be seen through the mesh—a horrifying concept for a school age child. This hasn’t been an issue for us whatsoever, but it totally could be for others depending on how they use the bag. ... show more

I purchased this TYR Big Mesh Mummy Backpack for my son, and it has been fantastic for organizing and carrying all his swim gear. The bag is spacious enough to hold his towel, swimsuit, goggles, water bottle, and even extra clothes, which makes trips to swim practice or the gym much easier. The mesh design is excellent for allowing wet items to air out and dry quickly, preventing odors and mildew. The bag is also lightweight, durable, and easy for him to carry, even when fully loaded. The blue and yellow color is bright and fun, making it easy to spot among other bags.     • Still Going Strong Nearly 3yrs Later

Update: I've now had this bag for nearly 3 years (I'm updating this on 1/14/20). The seam between where the backpack straps attach and the drawstrings exist has begun to separate (the separation is about 1.5 inches). This is a very easy to mend seam. I'm not sure how long this seam has coming apart, but it's only recently become noticeable. I came to this page considering buying a new bag, but the more I thought about it I realized this is an easy fix and there's no need to create waste by throwing away a mostly good bag that can be fixed. I still recommend this bag - the compartments are better than what competitors offer, the price is very affordable, and if I'm lazy and don't hang up my towel/suit the ventilation allows for everything to get mostly dry. I have no idea why this has negative reviews... I've owned this bag a little over a year (purchased Feb. 2017), and it has more than met expectations. I work as a lifeguard/swim instructor and this has been the best swim bag I've ever used. I can fit my shampoo and conditioner it the outside drawstring pouch, and I usually stash my wallet, keys, and phone in the front zip. This bag very easily fits a full sized towel, the three or so bathing suits I usually carry, my two goggles, and a swim cap with room to spare. This definitely a big bag (if I really wanted I'm pretty sure I could fit another towel), but it's not bulky due to the mesh design. I haven't had any tears or discoloration and the zippers and drawstrings are showing no signs of wear. GET THIS. It's the best you can find for the price, and I'd be hard pressed to show you a better option. ... show more
