I needed a new battery for my 04 miata and found local stores only carry the crappy silver batteries anymore. I have been using lifepo4 in several things already (though not automotive) and decided to try one in the car. After searching a long time in here I found this battery having 900cca and 18ah the best option (factory is 400cca 35ah) Fitment is almost perfect, I had to remove my old broken drainage tray, and slide the battery partly into the edge of the holder. Battery wings the engine over really fast compared to the almost dead battery I took out. I have not measured the CCA to verify the 900, but it seems to be working great for me. Pros -great price for the specs -very light weight -has a voltage/percent gauges on top that doesn't stay on Cons -tiny 6mm threads to run the amperage through -no Bluetooth on built in bms -charge percent gauge is just guessing off of voltage Time will tell on the life, I don't plan to drive the car in winter so I wasn't to worried about cold protection (though it claims it will start down to -20 it doesn't say if it will charge or if it has a heater EDIT I did finally do a CCA test, it came out at 1052cca ... show more

I used this battery for my car(NOT a motorcycle). I was a little worried able to the AH rating for this(18, compared to the stock batt of 60ah). This has NOT been an issue whatsoever and the batt stays 100% charged always, even after 2 weeks of not being started or driven(this is a weekend car). It's weight is what sold me on the battery. My OEM battery weighs in at around 41lbs. This 7lb battery is so light! The start of my vehicles are quick and without hesitation. I VERY much recommend this battery for anyone with an LS engine(LS3). ... show more

Was 100% charged out of the box. At least 50% lighter than the AGM battery that I replaced. My quad starts quicker and the lights appear brighter. The battery was a little bit slim for the battery box but I just used a piece of the foam packaging to keep the battery in place. The digital display on the top of the battery is cool but I will have to remove the battery hold down bar in order to see it. No fault to the battery maker. They have to put it somewhere. This battery cost more than AGM and lead acid but I am hopefully that this battery will last longer due to it being lithium. We’ll see! I’ll update in a couple months. Thus far the battery is working fine. My bike starts easier. From reviews I’ve read, the issue will be around how long it will last. The original battery lasted 4.5 years before it started having issue starting the bike.

I love the battery meter at the top of the battery! This battery is half the weight of an ugly, old, prehistoric lead battery. The battery came charged and my bike started right up. I do recommend charging it before riding according to instructions. Get a good lithium battery tender and let her eat. My bike no longer hesitates upon starting. I was clicking around searching for a Lithium battery for my 08 Street Glide and finally just hit this one, when I checked the status I saw it said IT DID NOT FIT MY VEHICLE, My bad no worries. when it came I set it next to my battery, almost identical... so I put it in... and BOOOM fit perfectly. It it self was easy to install, the old one getting out was a bit difficult but that's no reflection on this product. SO far SO good, riding season is just around the corner so we shall see. ... show more
