  • Good for covering rust holes.
Slim profile, and works well for covering rust holes and keeping the truck looking nice without going totally redneck with the obnoxiously wide flares with the fake bolt heads. The attachment hardware is a bit of a joke, plastic collars to snap into the flares and push through the pre-existing holes in the wheel wells, then a plastic screw to thread through and pull the collars tight, like a molly in a wall. However after 300,000 miles and at least eight or nine deer strikes, the truck isn't perfect anymore and the holes didn't line up. The plastic collars immediately crush and twist if the holes aren't exactly right, and become useless. Plan to have some pan head sheet metal screws and washers on hand because you can't rely on the plastic connectors. I I went back and put some of the rust converter on the screw heads to make them black and inconspicuous. The flares look good and have stayed on tight, but I do wish there was some way to pull the tops in tight to the body. There are some gaps, not real noticeable, but enough that it bothers me and I don't dare take the truck through a car wash, as I'm sure the brushes would catch in that gap and pull the flares off. But for covering up the brushed-on rust converter and making an elderly truck look respectable, these flares worked out very nicely overall. ... show more

I was very pleased with quality and fit of these fender flairs for my 2006 1500 Chevy silverado.. added much to look of the truck.

  • Good product
Easy to install. No cutting or fabrication needed. Installed these a couple years ago and they're still as nice as the day I put them on. Quality product.

  • Highly Recommend
Good fit for a good price on an 05 Sierra. Simple install as long as mounting holes are not rusted out.

  • Very good fit.
Great fit, easy to install. Tall enough to cover any rust damage. Looks factory. Took about 45 minutes that's including sanding and priming some minor rust on driver side rear. Do not be scared to buy this product. Well worth the money.

  • Covers rust. Get your drill ready - holes do not line up
If you want cheap plastic flares to cover rust and are capable of drilling your own holes, this is for you. Not OEM quality, but not OEM price either.

  • Transformed Looks In 45 minutes.
Originally, I purchased a different brand for around $60. They arrived. Complete disappointment. They didn’t fit in any way at all correctly, plus, they were smooth finish and not OEM style like the description said. Then I found the Tyger brand. More expensive but looked more like OEM and they were made of the more flexible nonbreakable plastic. They arrived and I was pleased with the look. The texture and color matched the other items on my truck. The kit includes the pop-lock pins and the fenders. There are no screws to mound into the fender or 3M tape that adheres it to the truck. They simply slide into place and the contours matched the body lines (the DNR brand did not). The predrilled holes are lined up with the holes in the edge of the fender well. Most of them did. Three of four flares had one or two at the top that did not line up. I had to find the hole in the fender and redrill the flare. Not a hard task but it’s the reason I gave it a 4-Star. The flares lined up with the fender fairly well and compared to the OEM version, they are a very close match. The front passenger side flare did not conform to the fender too well. Once in place, there was a gap of about 1/16” between the fender and the flare. It looked enormous. However, removing the pins and adjusting how for into the fender well the flare went closed the gap and looked more like a snug fit. Then I had to drill new holes in the flare to match the fender well holes. It was about a 5 minute adjustment - nothing major. Total install time was about 45 minutes - I took my time and made sure I installed them correctly. Overall I am well pleased with the product quality, durability, and improved looks it has made to may 2000 Silverado. I’ve included a “before” photo which includes the original Silverado rims. Then the “after” which includes my replacing the rims with 2020 Silverado 18” rims. ... show more
