I've been obsessed with this game and Two Point's University for a while now. Have this on Xbox, but wanted to play on the go so bought it on Switch. Such a good game! This one is way more difficult than Two Point's University though. So if you're looking for an easier play go for university.

The original Theme Hospital was one of my first computer games and i loved it so much growing up and playing it. Then this came out and i got it on PC... it was super great. reminded me of the inside humor of the original on the diagnosis's and the funny treatments. This version for the switch I knew i had to have as I am always not at my gaming computer no longer and on the go. It was well ported over with some controls to get use to. The graphics looks great for the switch lite. however I do not know how it looks ported to a tv screen with the regular switch. I imagine this would not do well on the tv. however that is just my opinion. The game runs smooth and no lag or hiccups. the usual lag happens at the beginning of fiscal years due to saving. that is normal however. all in all i give it full 5 stars! ... show more

I used to love playing Theme Hospital as a child; this game is very similar and I had been wanting to buy it on Steam. I am glad I waited for the Switch version. Graphics are great and are not pixilated at all (cartoon look) and it looks great on a television; it is easier for me to play the game this way. Game is not difficult in my opinion, and I like that it almost feels like a sandbox game, though there are many goals and challenges for you to complete in order to gain new hospitals, items and rooms. Once you complete the goals to unlock a new hospital, you can still choose to continue on the hospital you are working on, or go to the map and try the new one. I am only a few hospitals in and so far it does not feel repetitive to me. I have not encountered any glitches, though one thing I find annoying is that sometimes the patients will not sit on the benches I place, yet complain that there is no seating in the hospital. Fun game for all ages and the $39 price is great value. ... show more

I LOVE this game, but it is addicting. I use to play the old Sims 2 games when I was younger. This game reminds me a lot of Sims 2. That's probably why I love this game so much. Everything about it is amazing, especially the games radio "station" that plays in the "hospital" as you're playing it. I love the tasks and challenges. I just don't know where the time goes. Whenever I play it, I have to make myself put it down after playing for a while because I could play it for eternity. ... show more
